poor quality tasteless food. although the food arrived in time, it was cold. from the curries to the kebabs, everything was bad. i couldn’ttasteanything in the curry other than excessive garlic, notable mention must be made of the egg curry which had boiled egg portions floating in grayish oily gravy ( are they using motor oil ?). the laccha paratha were thin and without any layers, the worst was a watery salan for the equally bad biryani, other than an excess of synthetic kewara essence there was no spice either in the chicken or the rice. among the starters they gave soggy fried fish with oil dripping over, dry and tasteless green colored chicken tikka’s, tasteless paneer tikka which had probably been hastily microwaved as the inside was very cold. i would have been better off heating pre cooked frozen food. something is seriously wrong as i had given this establishment a 5 star rating based on my last order. i couldn’t eat most of the food. i will never order or dine in. the management needs to seriously look into quality issues. do they even try and do random checks on the food quality. wake up guy’s, this way you will go out of business, there is a lot of competition and you can’t rest on your past laurels.
response from management:
the management did call and the chef talked to me apologizing about the food. i still can’t risk ordering again. why can’t franchises follow an sop while making bulk food. how can they go wrong in the spicing levels and balance of flavors in the food. either they are cutting costs or hiring incompetent chefs, it’s a poor reflection on chain restaurants. the passion and soul of an owner driven restaurant is sadly missing. unless they do a complete overhaul of their process i don’t see how customer confidence can be restored.
postscript: i shared this horrible meal with my wife and younger son. my wife hasn’t spoken since yesterday and my son had an upset stomach.
