the joy of going to a "bar" with the kids. relax... bar estilo is a family friendly, fresh, and relaxedrestaurantin the mailbox, overlooking the canal end.
i visited bar estilo on a bright and sunny british summer day with the family and the first thing that struck me was the friendly staff who were quick to bring my daughter some colouring pencils and paper. therestaurantis extremely light and nature-friendly with cane furniture and lovely green plants on each table. the windows and doors were open on the day, letting in the sun and cool breeze, which all added a certain calmness to the ambiance.
since we were just taking a breather of sorts from walking around, the bread basket with some olives and a couple more finger food items were sufficient. moreover, their strawberry mocktail (can't remember the exact name) turned out to be wonderfully refreshing.
a great place to sit and relax at the mailbox, bar estilo gets full points on service and ambiance, and i do hope to experiment more with their food offerings at a later date.
