great real food. i probably would have moved on when looking at these reviews except i saw the other two most recent reviews and couldn't let them go unanswered. the variety of food far surpasses any other burrito shop. the authenticity of the food is beyond compare. the beef is unmatched anywhere. beware: queso that doesn't come from a can, may have cheese in it. delicious. free veggies and sour cream and cheese with the base burrito: it is heaven.

when anyone is positive towards panchero's it becomes hard to believe anything else they say. of all the chains, they are by far the most bland, have the most limited choices and charge the most for items like sour cream and veggies which come free at bandit. chipotle is good, qdoba better, bandit better than both, and panchero's...come on...did you really eat the food or did you just chew and swallow?

pancheros is so much better. yesterday i went to bandit burrito and i was appalled. this place was absolute trash. the ingredients weren't fresh, and the queso was really runny and chunky.
the worst part of it was the tortilla. it was stale, horrible, and tasted like my underpants. (yes i've tasted my underpants).
honestly, when comparing it to pancheros it is no contest. the quality of pancheros ingredients, and the atmosphere is infinitely superior than bandit burrito.
bottom line. if you want to eat a stale, bland burrito. and you want to eat it in an enviornment that will make you feel like you might get raped. then go to bandit burrito.

honest review. i don't doubt that this place may be good when the food is fresh, but how often is that? they don't get very busy, so the food has time to get terrible. i had nachos. my chips were stale and bitter, rice was overcooked and smelled burned. the fajita veggies were halfway black and crunchy. the corn salsa must have been bad because it smelled like ethanol, the cheese sauce was like a paste and tasted like brocolli, and the chicken was dry and rubbery like it had been left overnight and reheated that morning. i ate at 11am. being a restaurant that dies most of it's business at lunch time, it seems they have a long way to go to catch up to it's competition. also, the person with me got a vegan burrito. the owner made both of our meals after arranging beef on the previous customer's burrito. he didn't change his gloves before moving on to the vegan burrito. he also reached into the cheese bin with beef on his gloves. i won't recommend this shop to anyone unless you're looking for mediocracy.

the giant burrito wars!. has anyone noticed that a lot of large burrito places have been showing up. you have pancheros(in which i give a terrible review. because of the help. i find them to act like "aw man i'm at work" poor attitudes) chipotle and if you have ever been to the black hawk county they have pablo's in cedar falls. all have the same concept.... big burritos! now i have not eating at chipotle. i have how ever eating at pablo's and bandit. i sadly have to say bandit is better. i lived in cedar falls for 5 years ate at pablo's for all them 5 years at least once a week. i was even there when the own passed away. the thing that sets bandit on top is the tortillas. they have multiple flavors! flour
wheat, spinach, jalapeño cheddar, and roasted pepper. they also offer many different hot sauces. i cant list all them theres actually to many. the greatest thing about these places that it is latterly health food. not your junk refried beans and salsa out of a can! all ingredients are very fresh! you have option of black beans and pinto beans. salsa are a huge verity all made on site. the hell with subway people walk over to bandit and eat healthier. i feel in my opinion there is more verity in all these big burrito places. eat and enjoy!
