my favorite restaurant!. i have ate here a few times and i would say both hibachi and sushi are pretty good. first time i tried steak and chicken combination on hibachi grill and it was not the best but it was decent, at least better than another japanese restaurant on airport. and second time i tried filet and it was great! it's a little bit pricy but if you want to eat at hibachi you should try filet. i also had some sushi (don't remember the name) for appetizer to share with my husband and it was absolutely amazing! probably they have best sushi in mobile. today i went there with my coworker for lunch and i tried this power lunch and we loved it! the waitress was full of hospitality and we totally enjoyed it. i will definitely come back.

it sucks. the food tasted as if it had just emerged from my ass. except my ass food would have been warm.

don't waste your time.. this place is right down the road from me so i was excited to try it. the first time i went there, it was okay. the food was alright, it was nothing special. i had to take my food home and tweek it to make it better. my first time there was when they were not tech. open, so i decided to give them another chance. my roommate and i went there for lunch one day. their lunch menu was the same one that they used for dinner so it was expensive for a lunch. then we ordered two sweet teas and the waiter came back with one water and a tea that had 1/4 of a cup of sugar on the bottom. when he realized that he got our drinks wrong, he said he would be right back. after 20 minutes, he never came back. i am very disappointed with my experience. it is a shame.

good sushi. i moved to mobile last year and have been very disappointed with the sushi restaurants. the wife and i decided to try bamboo last week. we were very happy with our meal. the food tasted good and the service was decent. not the greatest sushi i've ever had, but definetly the best i've had in mobile.

i went for the first time tonight, taking my dad for his birthday. the service was excellent and the food extremely fresh and delicious. pricey but worth the occasional outing. i wouldn't say is better than mikato but definitely comparable.

it's really good. i really like it , the bama roll is by far the bestest there! it's so yummy !

hidden gem. from the outside it doesn't look like it is going to be very good sushi, but don't be fooled is it the best sushi in mobile! my friends and i went there with minimal expectations since we have only found one other good sushi place in mobile (mikatos) but we were pleasantly surprised. the staff is very friendly and efficient. i have been back and i tried the hibachi and it was excellent as well. i highly recommend you try this place. there is also seating over the lake with a pretty view.

guess i am the only one. went there on a business meeting and got really good service. the owner was seriously smoozing my boss. the hibachi was excellent and the sushi was pretty good. i went there a second time with my wife and son and the service was absolutely horrible. the sushi had a very bad odor, and the tempura was extremely greasy...my sons meal was pretty good for a kids steak meal. the waiter was inexperienced. i sat through the entire meal with no offer refill my water and couldn't complain about the sushi because the waiter didn't come back. i was fuming....got the check and left. i spent $80 that night, and will not be going back. i'll stick with shogun or that place on azalea (i forget the name).

it was great!. great sushi, lakeside seating, wonderful service! we will visit again. i would recommend the chef special rolls and the edamame was perfect. an excellent new option for west mobile dining. we will try the hibachi on the next visit.

great food!!. my daughter and i went for lunch and the food was great. we had food from the hibachi and both really enjoyed it. i know this place is not right on the main street but it is worth the extra few minutes to get there. they have remodeled the building and it is beautiful on the inside. please give them a try and let's keep them in business.

yum. i have been here 3 times so far and i have to say it is one of the better japanese restaurants in mobile. the service is getting better, but they seem very committed to satisfaction. i tend to get the pad thai because it is only 6.95 and they give you a full plate. my wife and i will definitely try the hibachi soon.

worth the effort!. went during lunch, for hibachi, and it was really a good spot. they were fast, great flavor and the overall experience was good! we even asked if they could make a special not listed on the menu and our waitress was great about it! they have remodeled nicely, and i hope they stick around, especially since the cody rd bridge and roadwork is causing them to lose some thru traffic. there is a detour so don't let that stop you, it was worth it!
