service was great however i can't say the same for the food. i had the beef with onion and oyster sauce as well as the deep fried prawns and i have to say that both dishes weren't excellent.

i decided to try this place after a subpar experience at a chineese restaurant a few blocks away. looked at the menu provided on here and at the restaurant, the prices increased from on here to their in house menu. ok cost of inflation. i ordered the #2 combo dinner and the husband ordered the #5 combo dinner. so the dinners came with wonton soup. it was very yummy, very flavourful and probably the best i have had. so my dinner came with sweet and sour pork, chicken chow mein and deep fried prawns. the chicken in the chow mein was deli chicken meat sliced from a slicer vs sm. chicken chunks (pls see my picture). the sweet and sour sauce was too ketchup heavy, it needs more balance/zen. the ‘prawns’ looked like they were starved to death or anorexic. they were way to small/thin for prawns. the husband had sweet and sour pork, pork fried rice and almond chicken. the chicken was not dry at all. the pork in the rice had an aluminum flavour to it. sweet and sour pork was good and not dry, the only downer for it was what i mentioned above. would try them again to see if they can redeem themselves.

overall i felt the visit here was good. upon walking in the staff were cheerful, welcoming, and attentive. the seating area was tidy and comfortable with a cozy light level. i ordered the custom meal for one with fried rice, sweet and sour pork, and almond chicken. the fried rice was the perfect texture with a nice mix of seasoning. the pork was tender but it was heavy on the sauce which had a hint of ketchup in it. the almond chicken was a bit high on salt but you could still taste the chicken through the batter which was crunchy without being dry.

i sampled my wife’s chicken chow-mien and shrimp. the chicken was deli meat which kind of turned me off of itz, but the cabbage noodles were very nice. the batter on the shrimp was a bit thick and overpowered the flavour of the shrimp.

the restaurant may not be super authentic one but tastes really good. i don't go with their lunch/dinner deals because most of them has sweet & sour pork included, but single menu items are really good such as yangzhou fried rice (shrimp and pork i believe)

good classic canadian chinese. always quick and tasty. cashew nut gail ding is a requirement. i am vegetarian and they vegify a lot of dishes that i wouldn't otherwise try.

i have given this place a try a few times and every time they have messed up first i ate in rather empty restaurant took forever to get food n service was spotty at best second time delivery got thier dried garlic pork tasted like they cooked it in burnt oil had thier fryers to high i called complained they were nice enough to comp me for something of equal or lesser value for next time but wouldn't bring a replacement so there goes half my meal finally i give them one last chance delivery again got dry garlic pork and spicy ginger beef was told it would be hour and a half hour n 45 pass n i call to see where it's at they tell me it's just left i say ok so i wait another 30 min pass and i only live like mby 5 min drive away n he arrives finally i get my food and why driver is there even getting him to feel it as it's barely even luke warm i call in and manger refuses to do anything about it saying it supposed to be that way thou the person on phone wanted to comp me for both items at least just wow ridiculous idk how these people are keeping afloat with service like this never go here n if there is a mess up don't expect them to do anything bout it

the best chinese food we have had and we order quite often from various places. nice restaurant for dining in as well. i would highly recommend this place

abbotsford's best chinese restaurant. bamboo palace is my favorite chinese restaurant, nothing compares! the prices are fantastic, the quality is great and they serve very generous portions. i've never been disappointed, whether we've picked up or dined in, it's always been hot and tasty. we recently moved away and have yet to find anything compared to bamboo palace, they just can't be beat! we make a point of ordering takeout every time we are in the area. my favorites include the egg rolls, breaded almond chicken and the chicken chop suey, but all of their dishes are amazing!

never had a bad meal. the waitresses are great !!!! the food is good . the atmosphere is a pleasure. we will return

the ginger beef is amazing! spicy and full of ginger, it's not the overly sweet junk other places try to pass off. the chopsuey is great, large pieces of fresh veggies, and the chow mein is dry and not greasy. i love this place.

horrible. when we ordered dinner they told us it would be maximum an hour. after 1.5 hours the delivery guy finally shows up, and then informs us he has forgotten our drinks and will have to go get them and then bring them back. after another 40 minutes we call back to find out that he went out delivering everyone else's dinner, and had just stopped at 7-11 to pick up our drinks. instead of going to the store in the first place so we could eat. the people on the phone just kept saying sorry but he will be there, no care at all that we have now been waiting over 2 hours to get to sit and eat our dinner. there will not be any enjoyment now for some cold chinese food that was accompanied by horrible service.

love this restaurant. good food, good service. some favourites are crispy ginger beef, egg rolls, wonton soup and the house special chow mein, very yummy!

i am new to abbotsford and go to the university here. i needed something affordable, quick and delicious so i googled abbotsfords top restaurants and found this place. the restaurant is laid out beautifully with wonderful waitresses. the service is quick and the food portions are huge (trust me, you will definitely have some takeout). the prices are cheap and the crispy ginger beef is definitely my favourite!! it is a must try... when you order a combination meal you also get a wonton soup, they are delicious aswell... the price of the food is totally worth trying it out, for food this cheap you can never go wrong!!!

i heard it was a great restaurant, but i have to disagree with that. i tried the vegetable chow mien, and i'm sorry but it was the most disgusting chow mien i have ever tried. the fried rice is exceptional, but the chicken it gross,it's oily, greasy and had slimy texture. after i tried everything i put them back in take out bag and through it in the garbage. my family agreed it was awful.

amazing lettuce wraps. their lettuce wraps are to die for! i suggest having a partner with you though. the portion is huge!! the beef/pork & veggie mixture is piled on top of crispy wonton strips served with a whole crisp lettuce head & a bowl of hoisin sauce. yummy!!!
