if u are a foodie and u happen to be in ahmedabad then u must visit this place. it is unique in its own way. famous for it's gwalior dosa, a super buttery dosa is a must try. but a fair warning anyone with any kind of heart condition do refrain from this one particular dosa. in general for a khau galli feel the dosas are pretty great.

normally i don't eat south indian dishes, but this place made me forget that thought and i had a great time finishing out their butter dhosa. of course perfect hangout spot with food junkies and friends. just awesome..

worst service and rude waiters. as if making favour to us by selling their product. nothing special in taste too. senseless explanation regarding bad service

night time food party happens at manekchowk.. all time favs are pavbhaji, pulav & balan dosa. this place has been there for ages, so as the "balan dosa". they keep on introducing fusion dosas and majority are well accepted by the foodies. may be its been there since sometime but i recently had a chance to try out their "gotala dosa".. its fabulous and really innovative fusion. i personally find the maxican flavour in it. i just loved it, people may feel its overpriced for the ambience and surroundings... but thats what manekchowk is to live for. get stuffed and never get tired of earing.. here, your tummy is full but your heart is never!! :)

this place is for foodie who is okay to have extra cheese and extra butter.
this is one of the must do things in ahmedabad.
located at old city manekchow area.
morning to evening you will find jewellery shops and night for foodies.
from chocolate pizza to bhaji dosa you will find fusion food if you have an eye for it. although its street market but this is not cheaper than any mid range restaurant because they use highest standard quality like cheese of amul brand

balan dosa....it was an awesome place....service is gud......here the gwalier dosa is too gud....must try....its good place for hangout.....

super varities of dosa! if you do not mind the crowd and the un-cleanliness then manekchowk is the spot to go.

i will keep this review simple and blunt. i visited this place when i was in ahmedabad. i have heard a lot about manek chowk and had to visit here at any cost. so, when i visited, i was shocked to see the no. of people that lined up to eat food at this particular place. the speciality here is the famous gwalior dosa and while i am sure that the other varieties will be good, the gwalior dosa definitely takes all the spotlight. a perfect dosa which is so rich in butter that it is softer than silk. the molten butter dripped through this particular delight like molten cheese from a chicago deep dish pizza. and its aroma was enough to fill the atmosphere. i think i have never had a dosa better than this. this is one thing that every person in ahmedabad must eat. hell, it is one thing every person should go to ahmedabad for. from my side, it's one of the best thing you will ever have.

a super busy place buzzing with people.  difficult to get a place to sit but the wait is worth.  ordered plain cheese dosa made in butter.  it was crisp and just as we expected.  if you are at manek chowk, do visit this stall for yummy dosa....

heard alott about gotala dosa so finally went to try it..
though it is very tasty but at the sams time unhealthy to as it contains much much butter and cheese than needed.

saw your video on a facebook page. i have never been to your place, i have never been to ahmedabad. i am just giving a 1 rating because of that ghotala or whatever dosa you make. the amount of butter you provide is juat horrific. a heart attack waiting to happen. ignorance and lack of awareness can lead to such disastrous cooking.
a 1 star just for serving people heart attack on a plate.

have had the best dosas🤤🤤 and yes make sure if you love butter to order the gwalior masala dosa! also, the ghotala dosa is full of ghotala, i literally couldn't make what all goes in there! make sure you try them

there gwalia dosa is like soooooo yum with lots and lots of butter

what a dosa this is!

please don't mistake this for a good regular dosa. this is something incredible and incomparable. they lay a dosa and blend heap of paneer, butter, cheese (loads of cheese infact), gravy and spices to make a "ghotala" on it. a little ghotala is left to be wrapped in an utterly buttery dosa and rest of shiny red ghotala is served in a separate plate to complement the dosa. the ghotala is insanely cheesy and addictively delicious. you will finish the food by licking the plate. the testimony of this dosa is given by flocks of people gathered here to eat this. eat this and thank me later.

just watch how much cheese and other stuff goes in the dosa. oh! i just love this dosa 3000.
