the bestest place to hang out in gurdev nagar area... just loved everything they serve... used to go there quite often ...not in tunes with the place right now... but definitely one of the best cafe's in ludhiana...

one of the oldest cafe's running in ludhiana and still pretty popular amongst true coffee lovers of the city. i still remember the day when i went there for the first time. i think i was in school and i went there with a few elder cousins of mine. that smell of freshly brewed coffee and that warmth i felt moment i entered was enough for me to fall in love with this place. the best part is, somehow they've happened to maintain those standards by far. recently there were rumors that its now gonna be open till 3 or 4 am. but i guess they were just rumors. it would have been good though.

bakes and beans or some ppl fashionably called it bnb is a sachin tendulkar of restaurants and cafe in ludhiana, its old, its performing and its setting up some tough standards for new cafes or restaurants when its comes to the quality and taste of the food. you may corelate it with a sports bar or cafe when you enter the place due its sporty look decor. but its nothing like that, its a decent place which serves mind blowing food, you can have anything there which is edible. paisa vasool taste. there is an ample space for parking. its located very close to the financial hub of city "firoz ghadhi market". so if you are travelling or coming for a business meeting in ludhiana, its a place to be at. please bear with slow service and "never smiled faces" of the staff as many of them are decade old.

ambience >> u enter it.. and look at the ceiling footballs,golf clubs and sporty stuff hanging on it.... super cool idea :d ..
food- their coffees,shakes and pastries...specially the chocolaty stuff :)..and their herbal teas are great if u r diet concious!
service- good
all n all..good place :)
p.s- try their jungle java shake if u love chocolate! :d

bakes and beans, or bnb as it is lovingly called, is technically a nice, elegant coffee shop. non-technically it is a place of meetings, birthday parties, exclusive get together, kitty parties and hoard of other social activities that require an exquisite cup of coffee.

i have been visiting it for past 5 years and not one day have i sensed any change in quality or taste of their coffee. i love jungle java shake, a cold coffee with lot of chocolate. their assam tea is another feather in the cap. the snacks on the offering are also great to have.

the bakery section is full of delicious pastries and cakes from black forest to choco truffle. the ambiance is great and cozy. the shop has golf clubs, footballs, hanging from the ceiling. the walls are covered with posters from various eras. the seating is quite good and you can choose to sit inside for coziness or outside the cafe for in-the-air experience.

overall a great place for a nice cup of coffee.

since the year 2000 ... my all time fav cafe.. the coffee served here beats barista and costa and the walnut pie served is excelent. i would rate 5 always
