lowdown: we came to this place for one reason and one reason only… churrasco! no menu required, just an ongoing bombardment of various spit roasted meats, which are prepared with "dry rub seasonings, fine herbs, brines, marinades and glazes”. this is the type of place you go to, where the meat is soo tender, so lovingly prepared, that no sauces or extras are required. the meat varies from beef (rib, flank, rump cap, tri tip), lamb (rump, ribs), pork (sausage, belly, chorizo), and chicken (wing, thigh, heart… yes heart). my personal favourite was the rump cap!
but everyone knows a delicious meal requires the satisfaction of the sweet tooth… sweet tooth, meet caramelised grilled pineapple - maybe thebahbqteam can confirm, but it tastes as though the pineapple has been pampered with cinnamon and given a lil brown sugar. the result is a mouth watering fruit which has you begging for more… even though you feel like you have eaten your own weight in food…

pro tip: don’t fill up on the salad, or polenta sticks, or fried banana… have a bit, stay hungry, and enjoy what is heading your way. don’t be afraid to ask for double or triple serves each time something comes your way. no matter how full you believe you are, make sure you have a slice (or 10) of the bbq’d pineapple.
