reviewer. i agree with daniel, this place is great. we go hear often with the kids and they have a blast and make the best pizza around town. they do so much for the community and we love that involvement from a small business and i think they will be around a long time. we are in small friendly town and it is a small friendly place where you are made to feel at home. the kids enjoy watching the pizza tossing and getting dough to play with and i really enjoy the homemade meatballs, it is truly so good. i have nothing but good to say about backstreet pizza.

long wait bad pizza. i preordered went to pickup and had to wait 45 minutes in person. pizza lacking taste and too much oil.
counter people didn't care. adios.

received a pizza delivery where the pizza was received up side down in the box. called the store and asked that the pizza cost be credited and the old pizza be picked up from the front porch of the house. we were credited, but a store representative showed up at our door and overturned the return pizza on the porch making a mess. we called to ask them to remove the mess and they said that they refused to do so. 

this is about the worst food service company that i have deplt with in 40 plus years!!!

i'm not sure where some of these reviews come from and where the thoughts are. backstreet is at best an okay pizza place. moving from new england to florida most of the pizza joints just don't match the hype.

we ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pie, there was little flavor and the crust was a bit hard.

maybe my expectations are still a bit high. if you need quick pizza and the chains won't do, backstreet might be a good fit.

absolutely amazing!. amazing pizza and subs, we really loved everything we had, the pizza is the best around that we have ever had!
the garlic knot sliders were amazing!

terrific pizza. i grew up in nj eating pizza considered new york style - thin crust, big, puffy edge, olive oil dripping, real mozzarella. this is the only place i have found it in central florida. i always get pepperoni and meatballs, and it is delicious. their meatballs are excellent, and the pizza is always hot, fresh and loaded with toppings, and delivered promptly. just once, they made a mistake on my order, and my replacement pies were here very quickly. i wound up with four pizzas since they didn't want the original two back. the times i have eaten in, the service has been fine and everyone very nice. my nephew and his wife now make the trip from debary to oviedo quite frequently because they love this pizza.

pizza is on point. i don't normally review places online, but backstreet should be higher than 70%. i'm not sure about the rest of the menu, but the pizzas are on point. the tuesday $1 slice special can't be beat around this part of town.

if you're in the mood for a good ny pie in oviedo then you should go here.

best pizza in oviedo, that's all there is to it. the rest of their menu is awful.

their chicken comes in cooked and frozen off of a truck. i know this because i received a raw chicken tender one time, and the manager explained that the manufacturer sent a raw bag of frozen chicken and not a cooked one. the "chefs" in the back couldn't tell the difference. their pasta is always over cooked, their signature garlic knots are too burnt/oily, bread on sandwiches in always burnt to a crisp. their toppings are awful, so i just stick with a 18" cheese pie, and that miraculously is delicious.

not a bad place. if you're looking for a decent, home town italian restaurant that doesn't give the full-service environment this will do. decent food, decent pizza. not bad.

after reading all the negative reviews i had to try them out for myself. i ordered a large pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza and it was freaking huge. pizza tasted very good and was cooked well with plenty of toppings. great pizza in my opinion.

amazing. i never had such great pizza since moving here to florida . it is so good and all my family and friends love it. everything we had was cooked fresh on the spot. we tried the wings and they were yummy and the kids love the multiple sauces they have to choose from. the food is just amazing and they have champions making the food, it is very cool to go in and see the pizza guy tossing and i'm loving the tvs on the walls which really gives the place addition. we love you backstreet and wish you many more great years to come.

really bad.... slower than slow, un-friendly, apathetic. got a chicken parm sub - burned beyond the point i could eat it. see photo below (i mean, how the hell to you put that on bread and serve it??). complained that it was burned. no apologies. i have been a few other times, and all i can say is the attitude of the owner (wife?) is so poor and obvious that customers are such a bother. i won't be back.

my first visit!. the pizza wasn't bad but lack flavor on the sauce. the wings were gross seem like the were freeze dried and just dumped in a bowl of hot sauce and thrown in an oven with no care of taste in mind. garlic knots probably should be called knots. no flavor or butter once again just some dough tied in a knot thrown in a pizza oven.

very bad pizza and even worse service.th staff act's as if you are a bother to them .pizza was cold and greasy.never again

go to giovanni's in oviedo way way better than this place.first of all the crust is very saugy.second of all the people who run it are very rude and have no idea there customer's are there future. there pizza is just nasty greasy really bad.there are so many other places to get good pie in oviedo don't waste your money at backstreet!

finally real pizza in florida. we just moved to florida in aug 2011 (and settled in oviedo in february 2012), from the nj/nyc area. we have been looking for a pizza place that makes real pizza (not a chain). well we found it here at backstreet. i cannot recommend it enough.
