back yard burgers

we went late night and it was our first time. we waited to order and then finishing our order after simply 2 combos a big beast with a strong tone and hella rude cut us off and began to argue with us over the speaker. she was rachet and more than anything filthy. when i parked to ask for the info to report her i realized the place was super dirty and everyone in there looked like they stank👃. never ever allowed anyone to treat me that way. only speaks volumes of the place. all i wanted to do was drag her thru that window but jesus took the wheel. 🙄🙏👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

placed my order at the drive through at 3:01pm. one car ahead of me, already at the pickup window.
nothing happened. i left hungry at 3:13pm cause had to get back to work. wasn’t acknowledged in any way by the staff. the car ahead of me was still there. the line behind me growing. no lunch today for me.

we went through the drive threw , there was a car in front of us at the window, as we waited all of a sudden seemingly out of nowhere was a large woman in my car window saying . that'll be 18.75. she scared the hell out of me. my sister was digging in her purse getting the money while the employee waited outside my car window and i saw that she had come out of the side door of the building. she was kind of pacing while waiting and finally my sister got out a $20 and i handed it to the employee, she took it , stepped back, and went "ugh" kind of loudly. i guess she had not liked waiting for us to get the money out , we did not like having someone jump out a side door at us demanding money, it was very strange and it frightened me when it happened. we did not the attitude either, so when we got to the window a different employee handed me the drinks , but my sister was saying she would not eat the food after the strange ordeal , and what we saw of the kitchen through the door was not pretty either. i said really i would just like the money back. she told me wait a minute, and she went and came back with the woman that had jumped out the door at us, she asked what she could do for us and i told her that i just wanted my money back. she asked if i would tell her why and i said "no". i thought if this was the one in charge it was a waist of time and breath to even try and explain it. i did not eat the food here, i would not eat the food here, and if i were the owner i would wonder why they are collecting money from the side door!

over priced chicken sandwich. had the hawaian chicken sandwich with small fries no drink ..$7.00 really?!!!! the taste was mediocre ckn hard and couldnt tast the pineapple.i could get a dinner at pollo tropical for less .chick- fil -a ckn sandwich is more meaty and tasty for less. you guys need to do better if youre charging the consumer more.

from the uk visiting orlando. i am from the uk and visiting orlando for three weeks. the food back home is average in most cases and when it comes to fast food burger chains only mcdonalds exists with maybe the odd burger king on the highways/motorways. i have been to the us a few times now and have tried a few of the recommended places to eat. in and out, five guys, chick-fil-a, checkers, steak and shake etc etc and i appreciated them all, but they did not blow me away. i tried the bleu burger from back yard last night along with the seasoned fries. honestly, i thought it was great! it tasted really fresh and the fries were a little chunkier which i love. cannot wait to go back again before i leave.

excellent "fast food" burger!. living in east orlando, i visited the back yard burgers location on university boulevard many times. that location has since closed. i was in apopka for work and on my way home, i remembered there was a back yard burgers location in altamonte springs. not having been to one in a long time, i decided to stop in.

this location is unique in that it does not have an inside dining room. it is a structure with two drive-thru lanes, a walk-up window, and picnic tables outside to eat.

i ordered a bacon cheddar burger on a wheat bun ($4.69). for a "fast food" burger, it is the best around. large juicy patty, great fresh toppings, and at a great price. i also ordered three chicken tenders ($3.87). my total was $9.08. when i pulled up to the drive-thru window, the attendant informed me that it would be a three-minute wait on the chicken tenders. i did not mind. about two-minutes later, a manager came to the window, apologized, and handed me a coupon to use on my next visit. nice unsolicited gesture!

a great burger and great customer service allows me to recommend this restaurant. i recommend you give them a try!

back yard burgers is located in west town corners, at the nw corner of south state road 434 and west town parkway.

hmmm. it seems that everytime i go to the altamonte springs location they are always out of baked potatoes, no matter what time of day i go. so yesterday, being no different, i ordered the cole slaw instead of the french fries. got to work and found the cole slaw container 3/4 full..seriously?? not to mention that their window staff are less than friendly. most seem to have an attitude and get offended if i check my burger for correctness. now i know to check everything. sad because they do make a pretty good black and bleu burger.

one of the best hamburgers i have ever eaten. it is a great resturaunt their seasoned fries are also great.

i have often driven by back yard burgers and wondered what they were like. some of the people that i know of who have been there give it rave reviews, but others told me not to bother because it is not that great. i was in the area one evening and decided to give it a try.
the atmosphere/service… it is very similar to a checkers. you can walk up and order your food and then eat it on a picnic bench, which is what we did, but most people seem to just drive thru!
the food…a black angus burger combo is the popular thing to order, but they do also offer a variety of chicken sandwiches, turkey burgers, hot dogs and root beer floats.
my friend and i each ordered the bacon cheddar burger combo (angus patty, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, ketchup, and mustard) with waffle fries and a drink. it came to about $8 each with tax. the burger itself was fine. the toppings were fresh and it tasted pretty good for a fast food burger. the waffle fries were soggy and not worth mentioning. they do offer a punch card so once you have purchased 9 combo meals your 10th is free, however i just threw mine away because with so many better burgers out there (even better drive thru burgers) i know for a fact that i will not be going there enough times in the future to fill it up.

its just ok. greatest fast food burgers ever! but the fries are dry and unseasoned. and they are ridicuuosly expensive two combos was 21.99 by makeing the both large... yah not worth the money but great food.

i agree with one of the previous reviewers that this was the best fast food burger that i've had ( i don't consider five guys to be fast food). i ordered the bacon cheddar burger combo with waffle fries. all was good, but next time i think i'll give their seasoned fries. i'll definitely come here again.
