try the tabouli!. it is by far the best tabouli i have ever had anywhere, ever. the hummus is also good. they really need to knock it off with the hamburger buns, though. what the heck is that? and pickles? no. some sort of flatbread, and appropriate condiments, needs to be used instead. if they get these kinks ironed out though, it has the potential to be an awesome place. i am not thrilled about the location, the parking is difficult and it's a little difficult to get into and out of the shopping center because of it's location and the cement curbs, but what can you do. i hope they stay and iron out the issues and keep growing. then maybe they can move somewhere more befitting their cool, bohemian attitude - like downtown! :)

different and good. my husband and i ate there on a saturday evening. i had the chicken stew with biryati rice and he had beef kebabs. we shared the very good tabouleh salad. the server, a young man, did a good job of explaining the menu and how the food was prepared. so glad to have some good middle eastern food in the area!

great all around. i make this excellent cafe at least twice a month. the owners are wonderful folks from iraq. christians who had to flee. their stew is always a wonderful surprise as to the type on a given day. the lentil soup is to die for. the only dessert is baklava. they make 8 different kinds and with an order you get 2 and turkish coffee.

nice change!. its great to see a new restaurant-especially one that offers something that the others don't. the staff were very accommodating and warm, and the food was very very good. there was a special desert they had that night that was amazing! i think it was a kind of baklava; orange in color. omg heaven! if you stop in, try it

really, really, really like it!. i will have to go back again within the week ... first of all, our server was warm and friendly and very helpful in describing ingredients (i am a tentative explorer with international cuisines, plus have some health issues) ... settled on two appetizers, both of which came so well garnished that i ate, my friend nibbled and i took home enough for two full plates of dinner for my daughter and me ... ! all for $19 plus tip ... oh, and that included most excellent iced tea (i'm a pal's girl) ... until now i've had only cootie's and moto ... this will be a favorite!

good food, nice prices, nice people and good service. i really liked this place and only can echo the thoughts of the first reviewer: the food is tasty, the cuisine is middle-eastern (iraqi, specifically), and the people are really nice. they will be adding more to the menu soon, and you can go outside and smoke a hookah! i don't know why the photo i upload is sideways- very strange, urbanspoon- but don't let that deter you... definitely give this place a try, as it's a welcome addition to the growing number of ethnic restaurants of quality in the tri-cities region.

give it a try. this is a little family-run middle eastern (specifically iraqi) restaurant. the people who have waited on us were extremely friendly and enthusiastic in making recommendations. i ordered the lamb shank and beans, baklava, and chai tea. i enjoyed all of it, but the lamb was phenomenal. the baklava was unlike greek baklava, and i'm not sure how best to describe it- but we enjoyed it. i look forward to returning to this restaurant often.
