need some food and price change.. the food s great, but two issues, i ordered agreeksalad and it says in the menu no lettuce but when i got it, it was full with lettuce and had no cucumber in it. the second issue is the mykonos combination platter, i believe its over priced for the portions, its $16.99 and it contains about 2 pita slices-greekyoghurt sauce-humus- 2 stuffed grape leaves and one spinach pita, which i believe it should not be more than $10. i still recommend it.

this place is amazing! the owner and employees are friendly, the music playing takes you away from the hustle and bustle of your busy life and the food is probably the bestgreekfood i've had in a long time! i don't live here, but will stop in the next time i'm in the area....everyone needs to try it at least once!!!!

moussaka has zucchini in it? and raw/ undercooked eggplant, absolutely horrible. the lame house salad was a bowl of iceberg with a teaspoon of feta cheese crumble. the appetizers were delicious though: dolmas, spanakopita and tiropita. there are much bettergreekrestaurants, this place is not it.

opah!. ateneo's is a small family rungreekrestaurant in a strip shopping center across from town east mall. the food is good but not the restaurant never has more than a few gusets. i had the gyro and the meat was fresh and so was the pita. we had the homemade baklava dessert after lunch and it was just right; most i taste are a little too sweet for me.

good hummus and tzatziki!. we started out with the tessera (an appetizer with four different dips; very small portions). their hummus is awesome! the fiesty feta is very good. the tzatziki was my favorite. we also tried the dolmades (rice and beef stuffed grape leaves), but it wasn't our favorite.

my daughter had the chicken parmigana (not breaded) and she devoured it. my brother had lamb skewers served with rice and salad. he said it was good. i had the gyro plate with fries and salad. it was good too.

i would return, but mainly for the hummus and tzatziki! i usually stick to the ol' faithful gyro plate at agreekrestaurant, but if i return i will probably try a different dish.

the owner was very nice and came out to speak with us. he was interested in our opinions about the food. our server was attentive, but informed us that she had to split the 18% automatic gratuity with the restaurant since we used a restraunt.com gift certificate. our table felt she was asking for more tip money in a round about way. however, we felt it was a bit offensive and we did not leave more as 18% was definitely good enough for the service she provided. she didn't speak to us after that.

*i am in no way soliciting for restaurant.com. my personal experience with this online company was a rip off. read the fine print before buying!! it's a joke!
