aryaas - ارياس

is it tandoori chicken? ordered tandoori and got this dump of charcoal. get up guys don't encourage these type of restaurants.
i would like to offer the great chef to share this dump.

we order for light snacks as we're hungry and wanted to just munch . ordered for
samosa chat - chole were pathetic and samosa was tasteless-0/5
papdi chat - we asked what does it include he explained something else and came with something else - stop selling things and call your outlet as mumbai chat - as it not even 1% close to what we get in mumbai
staff -1/5 - can't even communicate clearly

will never recommend or visit again

the food is not so bad, they still have a long way to provide a quality food, indian food tastes ok but not so good the prices are high compared to the other restaurants where i had the same type of food with better taste. i wouldn't recommend however it's ok to try once in a while.

very nice south indian restaurant. especially like their mini meal. sadly it's only available on weekends and during lunch. but it's highly recommended. and i adore the curd rice, made with perfection! the other dishes in this restaurant aren't that great. masala dosas and uttapams and idlis are like the regular ones you can find in every other south indian restaurant, nothing gr8 about it. i only go there for the mini meal and if that's not available i walk out because rest all its just mediocre.

horrible experience! we had visited aryaas restaurant in mansoura (al meera) with family and decided to sit in the outside area. we ordered food and in between one guy started smoking in front of us and i told him if he could move to the next side as my wife is allergic to it and also she is carrying, immediately he asked us to move to the other side as the side where we are sitting is a smoking area (where as public smoking is banned at all areas in qatar), we started an argument as he refused to move or stop smoking . i understand that this guy is not related to aryaas at all but what couldn't be accepted was that the staff in aryaas including mr sangeeth and mr selvam immediately ran out supporting him as he is their friend and argued with me telling this side is smoking and they have permit for the same where as its banned at public places, i requested him for the permit from muncipality which he refused to show me and when my friend tried take photo of the baladiya license which is displayed for the public (we wanted the number to raise a complaint) the same staff came and pushed us out telling you are not allowed to take the photo of this. we had to call police to get it sorted out and the police came and compromised the issue.

we were wondering the reason why aryaas being a vegetarian restaurant promoting smoking and supporting the smokers and going against us, even when the police came the staff was supporting the guy who smoked there and telling this area is smoking area which is impossible as that is on a footpath and public smoking is strictly banned in qatar. i am raising a complaint to the aryaas management and if no action will raise a complaint to muncipality and sch asking for a clarity on this issue. if its a smoking area they could put a barricade or smoking area sticker there which is again illegal. even i hang out with friends who smoke but when someone raise a complaint the restaurant should take it seriously and be neutral, how could they support one person as its illegal to smoke in public places.

with high hope revisited this place and was very disappointed. the masala dosa tasted bland and the sambar was watery. the service without a smile and "just doing our job" attitude. sad.



5 on 5 just for their sambhar. best indian vegetarian restaurant in town. love their masala dosas....can eat it day in day out. good service, ambience could have been better.

one of the first south indian restaurants i had visited in doha. aryaas in was a massive disappointment, especially considering that their outlet in dubai is pretty good. 

visited on a saturday night and to my surprise was completely empty. i only figured out later why. the service was extremely poor, no one took my order for 20 minutes and when he did, he got the dosa wrong !!! the onion dosa which was brought after was cold, the chutney was plain as water and the sambar tasted weird.

i also ordered a sambar vada which was pretty bad too. i didn't even manage to finish my meal and decided to pick up some kebabs from tandoor express on the way. if you are craving south indian, there are surely better options !!!

one of the few south indian vegetarian restaurants here in qatar. it a small place with simple decor incorporating something similar to homemade fabric designs.
hopefully staff and manager can be friendlier it they give it a try. during most of weekends it's chaotic. they bring in wrong orders, food will be cold, etc.
if it's week days it might be better because there are very few customers for breakfast. so service might be a slightly faster.
lunch service tends to be busy.
now the food part. the dosa's are ok and upon request they will make it crispy. even their puri and vada's are fine. however their assortment of chutneys are not at all consistent and if you ever ask for extras they use a spoon very similar to a teaspoon to serve you, which is quiet annoying.
if you request for tea with main course then almost 90% of time you will get it after you have completed your main course unless otherwise you keep on reminding them.

recommendation: a fair place to have some south indian vegetarian food, might even enjoy if your luck favors you.

i dont know why but i never found food at this  place very tasty.

the place is alright when it comes to food taste. however, i would argue that the menu pricing is a little bit higher compared to other similar establishments i've found.

they do have nice dosas (indian savory crepes for the non-subcontinental people) and chats (think of them as a mix between fast-food and quick bites). i have seen the taste fluctuate at times, but not a place i frequent that much.

we have been there mostly for the breakfast items, found it is overly priced and food taste is mediocre. the last time i was there for a kerala sadya and found the food disappointing and not worth the price. only good thiing is the dosas and idlis everything else is so-so or below

have just chaat there and i find quite indianized taste and quite fast service.as per the price point little bit pricey compare to market pricing.definatley charging for location....pani puri is recommended dont try aloo chole if u r typical delhite or north indian u r not gonna to like it....

horrible experience, never imagined kind of attitude shared by the waiters and even the manager, waiters attitude towards customers are worse and i imagined that would get the same atmosphere like in dubai arryaas but not.
please don't hesitate to look for other south indian restaurant ?

overpriced..completely shocked. an aapam costs 9 qr which is definitely ridiculous, whereas in many other renowned restaurants priced it for just 1 or 2 qr for the better taste. never goina visit this place again.improve the taste and revise the prices.

a place where the food is overpriced, served by wrong people. the waiters and their attitudes are horrible. sometimes you feel that the place might be better closed down, rather than seeing their attitudes.  after seeing the same a couple of times these, stopped visiting the place.
