been there a couple of days back. being a friday, we expected a rush during breakfast time. but it was less crowded at the time we went.
we had a breakfast tiffin which contained many of the regular stuff except that they are miniature versions of the regular stuff. food was tasty. ambience was good, though the place is a little cramped for space.
one big problem there is the difficulty in getting a parking.
further updates
service has gone down and so have the servings.

my all time favorite #gobi65 plus #parota.... one of the good indian restaurant in qatar. the trick if you don't know about the food is to bring your indian colleagues they will explain to you what is the food and the best indian food. #spicy #indiancuisine

nice veg indian house that serves south indian cuisine
we are frequent visitors here trying their ghee dosa, masala dosa, puri bhaji, masala tea. fresh and tasty though oily sometimes. prices are reasonable and parking easily available.

just went to the chaat side...guess that was enough!

arrogant staff with chips on both shoulders; had to repeatedly tell the fellas to put on gloves while making a chat.  as it was a take out, i requested them to keep the chat ingredients separate ....was flatly refused.

when asked for the reason, the folks just made a face and told me to take it as they were dishing out....or else...

would never ever go again to this place !

traffic prone area also difficulty to find parking in front of the restauraunt so you gotta park wherever you find one. aaryas and chettinand situated at the same place as you know one is vegetarian and the other is non vegetarian. let's talk about aaryas as i didn't go into chettinand. three types of seating; window view, american kitchen good for kids and inside seating attached with chettinand. also got two hand wash areas. the whole restaurant got a/c. i saw a television but the screen off. waiters are nice, don't talk too much...or not talk at all apart from taking orders. food is served quickly if you order dishes of the day. quality and taste of the dishes are acceptable. the price is reasonable. very calm environment around 7pm. interior decoration is not eye catchy. overall, it is place to go once in a while if you don't wanna to spend much!

tried butter dosa and it was ok. but loved the chutneys. appam was like roti and not fluffy. they give idli podi with idlis which is yum.

dahi puris in the chat section was ok. chana tasted good while batura was quite rubbery!

i am a north indian who loves to have dosa! well, i had tried dosa in the northern part of my country before i tried aryaas, so as far as my experience goes, it was the best paper dosa i had till date. we ordered butter roast and ghee roast dosa and both were equally good, crispy and fresh. you can also order their masala tea, you will not be disappointed. i liked their coriander chutney the most , the sambhar taste was ordinary. the ambience is simple but the place is neat and clean.

whatever may it be, one of the best south indian restaurants in town which serves good dosa. no friday dinner of our family goes without aryaas. pongal or idli or any south indian tiffin items these guys rock but other items they have to learn a lot, so no comments about that. in fact, i never ventured tasting anything apart from south indian tiffin receipes.

having indian roots, i often have a natural craving for chaats (indian snacks), so me and my husband decided to head to aryaas as i had just finished grocery shopping in the meera attached to it.
i ordered the 'dahi batata puri' from the chaat section. the menu is well organized and easy to read. the chaat corner was packed with customers but i felt they took a little longer than usual to prepare our puri.
they puris there has a subtle spiciness and lacked the strong taste which i prefer.
i have tried the different options of dahi batata puri in doha and in comparison this was an average experience.

aryaas is another south indian restaurant chain popular in the middle east.. this outlet in doha is a good option for breakfast as well as lunch.. dosa's and uttapam's are pretty good and thali is a must try as well..

only been here for chaat and dosa(evening tea time snacks).
small outdoor seating perfect for a simple evening catch up over some snacks and karak, when the weather permits.
mysore dosa, sev puri and kachori are a few of my favourites.
they also have an indoor restaurant with full fledge vegetarian meals but have not tried.

decent food is what would say
winner of some award that what the board says in the entrance
only disappointment is the soup served with north indian thali
it's ketchup sugar and hot water
suggestions to the chef is decided what soup is he trying to serve is it an indian shorba / chinese hot & sour ( chef version 😜) or conti as it had crotons or a new creation by aryaas
may come back
but never ever will try the soup
