the service was very good, with all of our food coming out quickly. we sat on the deck outside and enjoyed having the ocean right behind us. the food was very good, we had sushi and calamari, and while we didn’t have a burger they looked verygoodas well. we would definitely go again.

i was a little bit unsure what exactly i should expect from a place called "burger sushi bar," but i left raving about the place. the food is amazinglygoodwhether you're getting a sandwich or a sushi roll or two. my girlfriend likes to "roulette" with her food orders and this place has a sushi option where the chef simply makes you what he wants with what he has that day, leaving you in the dark until it hits the table. she did it, she loved it, and so did i. the burgers are great for their price; i would eat these burgers over most places on the strip. my only critique is that the portions are definitely lunch-sized; if you're starving around dinner time, save this place for tomorrow's lunch.

great food, awesome atmosphere, but not so much an amazing stuff. the food was out of this world, so fresh and full of taste. the table that my party was seated at was probably the best seat in the house; we sat in the back of the restaurant in the corner with a wonderful view of the ocean (definitely not lying when it says ocean front view). the service was very odd though, our waiter seemed very wide eyed and jumpy kinda- not sure if he was just stressed or super focus or what, maybe he was just having a bad day but it was very obvious that something was "wrong". then the bartender (i'm assuming) came out from behind the bar and was pushing to promote the restaurant on social media to the table next to us and he was just fishing for compliments which is uber annoying. the bartender then eventually made his way over to our table were he proceeded to give us a motivational speech for the rest of the day.... no words to be said about this other than i wanted to put a chopstick down his throat. oh and when we were leaving he shook everyone's hand as we were walking out- his hand was wet! gross!
but besides the odd staff this is must try! i would say that it would be agoodlunch spot than a dinner spot though. the sushi is priced just about average of what you would find anywhere else but is above average taste.

i had high hopes for this place. i read the reviews and figured i'd give it a try. i'm giving it two stars for a multitude of things, not only the food but yes a large percentage of my dislike is from the food. i was seated by the host, my waitress came over in a timely manner. they gave me the menus which are made of wood, so a cute element. she took my drink order and i ordered the hummus which also comes with three dipping sauces, all three weregoodbut my favorite was the light oil consistency one. i had the waitress to take my pita bread back 3 times because it was too light in color and not browned enough. then i ordered the chicken sandwich. on the menu, it describes the items that come on the sandwich as tomato jam, fried mozzarella and bacon. i get the food, and there's 3 whole mozzarella sticks on the burger. i tried the walnut chutney and it wasn't good, had a strong flavor that wasn't loving to my pallet. so i proceed to slice the sandwich into quarters, to better handle it. upon doing so, i had to slice up the mozzarella sticks, take off bacon that was too fatty and not crispy at all and then noticed the bun was really soggy underneath. so i basically had to take apart the sandwich to consume it. the chicken was ever so dry! it looked and tasted extremely dry. the sweet potato fries wasn't cooked well to me and was a bit soggy and too salty with whatever seasoning they use. the waitress could tell i wasn't happy, so she came over and then sent the manager. i told him it would be nice if the menu said the burger comes with mozzarella sticks. it's supposedly their own version of fried cheese, but my take on fried cheese is just a lump fried on the stove top griddle, not deep fried into a stick. so there's some confusion there. i told the manager of all the things that were wrong. he took off the sandwich since i couldn't finish it. my advice to them, is to make the items less complicated. the look maybe pretty but you have to think of the overall consistency of taste and texture for the customer. had the chicken been juicy, the cheese sticks simply melted or stove top cooked mozzarella and agoodsauce, and the sweet potato fries a little more crispy and less seasoned, this meal would've been good. overall it wasn't a home run for me. but the hummus was the best thing. better luck next time!

art's theme stays true even down to the artist palette shaped menus.. art burger•sushi•bar is a restaurant owner larry bond dreamt up from his mother’s love of art and his father’s love of burgers. larry is a legit restaurant industry professional; from training in the art of making sushi in tokyo (where he met his head sushi chef), to his days in italy spent cooking alongside genuine italian grandmothers. this dedication and respect to all the facets of food clearly shows in his restaurant.
as you walk through art your attention is immediately taken by the 10 ever-changing led wall-hanging art displays. there is also a large section of local art on exhibit in the entrance, all of which are for sale. a glass top sushi bar stretches down the left side of the restaurant directly into the bar. the end of the bar boasts a custom built liquid nitrogen mixer, complete with two massive liquid nitrogen tanks. what in the world could that equipment possibly be for, you may ask. how about transforming your favorite cocktails instantly into frozen treats right before your very eyes. it is quite impressive and dangerously delicious.
art cleverly utilizes locally sourced meat from keegan filion farms. this means all of art's beef, chicken and pork are responsibly raised with no hormones or antibiotics. now to the dishes themselves. there was a precise level of care in the handling of my remington burger which was obvious in how the kitchen maintains high standards in its attention to detail in the food's preparation and presentation. the burger's med-rare texture was perfectly lush and dense while presenting just the right amount of chewy resistance. the meat:bun ratio: flawless. however, the side of sweet potato fries were a little on the limp side, but still hadgoodflavor.
the sargent black bean burger was nothing to take lightly either. this was not your out of the freezer section vegetarian burger. the house made black bean patty was well-seasoned, cooked to perfection, and blanketed with swiss cheese, roasted red peppers and grilled onions. every bite delivered a savory rush of awesomeness. the bean:bun ratio: flawless again. let’s not forget the side order of kale slaw...wow it was phenomenal!
