though currently changing the menu because of a chef change, we didn’t notice any difference in quality.  that’s a testament to ronda breeden’s vision as the proprietor.  mulligatawny soup and salad soups are very strong, though they rotate daily.

fantastic experience. my fiance and i along with our best friends ate here on a busy saturday night. the service was prompt, the staff was friendly and very attentive. the food was absolutely fantastic! some of the best fries i have ever tasted and the hugo burger was to die for. they make really good mixed drinks and the manager even came to check on us at our table. my only complaint is that the price of the crab cakes was way too much for only three cakes. we also asked the staff for directions and they were incredibly helpful and friendly. we were very pleased and the next time we are in cincinnati we will revisit!

a solid choice!. this place is great. the food is awesome and they always have great musicians playing. every time i have been here, the staff has been great and accommodating and the service is very fast!

chicken nachos were just okay. shrimp po boy was amazing!!! fish and chicken taco- the fish was awesome, chicken seemed too dry. not so good.

everything i've had is really good. love the burgers, love the lentils, and the desserts and coffee are splendid! wonderful to go for date night, hang out with friends or to celebrate life successes!

i could get lost in arnold's. love the old photographs. food is decent and beer is always cold. cool spot to hang with friends

once i started eating, i just found something to be missing from this dish. what does arnold’s have against spice?! i believe how a restaurant handles a simple dish is the key to pleasing their customers and ensuring they come back. this pasta just didn’t do it for me. i hate to think that this place is simply a good bar, but this is the third meal i’ve eaten there, so i think third strike they’re out. sucks though, i really wanted to enjoy this.

amazing! i got the customized grilled cheese, my husband got the brown. i highly recommend both.

extraordinary gem. phenomenal atmosphere, great food, great beer selection, and wonderful live music. this place is a must have. i'm a vegetarian and they had a ton of vegetarian menu items. i was only in town for one night and i would visit again just to go here. it made my night.

totally agree about this place as a hidden gem. good selection of local draft beer and a great burger. nice friendly wait staff too.

great wait staff - lousy food. if you are looking for a good meal...this is not the place to go and unless you are sitting in the garden or are like to indulge yourself in cincinnati's history in lieu of a good meal...then this is not the place to 'dine.'
the meals were tasteless and visually unappealing. one of their 'signature' dishes, the "greek deluxe spaghetti" with all the topping - was so tasteless that i chose to douse it in the vinegrette from my gritty salad. upon seeing me do this, 3 of our other diners did the same to their over-cooked 'pasta' portion of their meals. 2 in our party had he chicken piccata - it looked blandly white...not a speck of color to it aside from a few burried capers...and aparently tasted as bland as it looked. the blueberry chicken - was reported to be 'bland,' 'disappointing' and unappetizing.
that being said, the wait staff were wonderful and attentive despite the place being busy.
my recommendation - go to arnold's enjoy a few beers and some great music in an interesting a fun atmosphere, sit in the garden with friends, maybe order some appetizers and go somewhere else to eat.

love everything about this place!. when i think of all the things i could want in a restaurant arnold's fits the bill on all accounts. fun upbeat atmosphere with live music (dont go if you want a quiet boring meal)! always busy but you would never know it with the excellent fast service. tons of vegetarian options. every time i have been everybody has loved whatever they got. i beg to go here everytime we go to cincy!

a local treat. a friend and i went to this bar when we were visiting cincinnati. one of the things we lik eto do when visiting other cities is go to restaurants not available in our hometown and arnold's did not disappoint! we both got burgers and french fries and agreed that the burgers were probably the best we had ever eaten! the fries were phenomenal too, crunchy and flavorful, but still had soft potatoes in the middle. the service was excellent as well. prompt, and very friendly without being too overbearing, and very will to accommodate our odd requests!

the atmosphere was very different than i expected. when we first walked in, i was not impressed. after reading reviews i was expected a full restaurant and the first part i saw was a very small bar area. the hostess, however, when seating us took us through, what i thought was the back, but ended up being another section before seating us in the patio/outside area. despite the chill in the air outside, the patio section was closed in and very warm and comfortable.

all in all, the experience here was superb and we look forward to trying to go again!
