second vist. only get to the area once a year..... breakfast heading out of town has been, and will continue to be at arnie's café. excellent food, outstanding service, and they make visitors feel at home.. chicken fried steak and eggs... last time was biscuits and gravy.. both were super..

customer service has a lot to be desired. every time i go in there i feel like the unpopular girl in high school. i get the glances from the waitress that make a person feel out of place. this happens every time i go in i. i just stopped going. i don't like being looked down upon for any reason, i'm sorry that the girls feel that they need to be this way to paying customers, hopefully the management can help train these young women to be professional.

had the veggie scramble and pancakes. pancakes were okay, but scramble was very greasy. husband had denver omelette and biscuits and gravy. both were average. service was lacking.

people were telling us how great arnie's was, so we decided to try them.   i had their "famous" chicken fried steak and eggs and it was decent, but nothing special.  my wife had the spanish omelette and also found it decent, but nothing special.  service was a little lacking, not uncommon with diners.  it was a decent, but we will not go out of our way to go back..

a reasonable enough diner catering to locals. had the strawberry waffle and no complaints. had some of my wife's chicken fried steak and it was good as well. just don't expect anything extra like real cream or maple syrup.

wonderful food. good coffee. great service.
love the breakfast scrambles myself with home fries. hubby had the cinnamon roll french toast. super sugar overload.
rediscovered this restaurant a month ago. it is clean nice and well staffed. highly recommend.

very quick service! real quick and delicious. when you come upon it, you may be thinking you made a mistake, but go inside! it's very cute and everyone was very friendly.

arnie's cafe. i had the biscuits and gravy with eggs....my grandma and mom always made the best, i have always searched for someone that could make them like those that my family made well i just found them at arnie's...wow they were delicious !! i love arnie's

jerry hanneman. i have enjoyed their chicken fried steak on many occasions. unfortunately, the one i had yesterday had a coating that was so over salted it would choke you. i don't mind that they raised their prices awhile back because if something is good, i'll pay for it.

my complaint here is that after taking two small bites, i told the waitress that it was over salted. i got a song and dance about making the coating when ordered and the cook probably got a little heavy handed with the salt. no offer was made to replace the steak. i ate my eggs, toast and hash browns. the steak went home and got fed to the crows.

i won't be back.

you had me at warm syrup!. staying in seaside for the week...read good things about arnie's. decided to take the aprox 15 min drive, to try for ourselves. so glad we did!! they had me at warm syrup...really?! our server [s] were very pleasant and constantly checking on us...had our water glasses filled at all times. had a delicious breakfast, everything was cooked to perfection...may have been a bit pricey. but definitely a great breakfast! no more "pig n pancake" for us when we stay at the beach!

awesome food, large portions. went during hood to coast they were very busy, but service was fast and friendly. they kept the coffee full
