best italian in the tampa bay area! romantic and amazing sunset views. try anything and you will love!

over rated!. we went there yesterday and found the view to be impressive. however, the food was not. the "mist own" tasted like old food which was left in the refrigerator for a while. the crab cake was small and unimpressive. the bar does not have "happy hours". next time, i"ll eat elsewhere and have a bottle of beer on the outside patio and watch the sun set.

one of the best in tampa bay. another restaurant to fall in love with. from the ambiance to the views, the wonderful food and the top notch service , you just can't go wrong here.

since i'm a creature of habit (yes i admit it) i had a bottle of the stags leap artemis 2010 ($125) while watching the sun go down and listening to a wonderful piano player in the lounge.

had the caprese salad for an appetizer served up a little different then last time but just as good with house made mozzarella, assorted tomatos and a wonderful balsmic glaze. they also bring you a little loaf of fresh baked bread to help you along.

dinner was the tagliatalle bolognese which came out piping hot and just delicious.

service was spot on.

from joan and alisa the waitresses (that title does them no justice!) to karim at the bar, they're such welcoming friendly people it just makes you want to stay all evening, share some great food, wine and conversation , and really, isnt' that was dining out should be about?!

one of my fav's. we love to his this place for sunset cocktails and the antipasto bar, which is to die for! they have everything you could ever want, peppers, meats, cheeses, just delicious. we've been here for dinner too , which is good, and it's nice to just put your trust in the waiters hand and let him serve you what's special, fresh or different that night. out fav part is just going for cocktails and the antipasto, enjoy the cool sleek setting and the terrific view! do i need to mention it's pricey?? who cares...

a bit over the top but a view to die for. yes, extremely expensive; you would probably know this when you made your reservation - if you didn't, you would figure it out pretty fast. three of us, drinks, appetizers, entrees, 2 desserts, coffee: $232. was the service good? yes it was; view? too sunny on the west at first so the shades [see thru] were down - the opposite view, of tampa airport/cityscape is equally enthralling in evening] - 2 of us love the antipasto bar; i had a caesar that was acceptable. ditto entrees: 2 had 2 different sea bass entrees, one a special; i had the veal scallopini, which i found acceptable but not extraordinary - mushrooms were actually tough but could have been the species. a good people watching place as well, if you like that sort of thing. i found the decor boring but clean, but i'm a color person. hyatt/restaurants hard to get to because of new highway configuration. if you're in area, try oystercatchers @ hyatt instead, still expensive, but great bay view. valet parking for both a must.

if you are looking for an address to watch the sunset over tampa bay, to celebrate, to have a great italian meal, look no more, armani’s is definitely the place to be. my sister and i had amazing time, on a ladies night pampered with great food and amazing service. the special bread basket served with the sour mix was addictive we had to stop ourselves to wait for the main plates:

oh, armani's...how have i managed to eschew you for the past couple of decades?  admittedly, i do tend to turn my nose up at most hotel restos...mainly because the very thought of them makes me yawn.  you, however, dispelled every preconceived notion i ever had when i dined with you on my birthday this month.

absolutely fabulous!!! it was the best birthday dinner ever. from beginning to end it was a wonderful experience. the bartender was very entertaining. beautiful view of the bay. the olive tapenade starter dish was sooooo delicious. i wanted to lick the bowl, but it's a fancy restaurant. so i resisted. my boyfriend had the swordfish and i had the veal tenderloin, both were tender and delicious. yummy dessert too. the staff is so attentive, knowledgable, accommodating, and absolutely marvelous.

the restaurant is very nice, beautiful view. the antipasto bar was pretty neat. we were able to try some new and interesting things. for dinner we had the filet and an order of bolognese. both were very good. service was fantastic. we will definitely return!

yes, i had to go 14 floors up to get this serenity with my husband, but it was paired with northern italian cuisine, a sunset, wonderful conversation and service, and an antipasto bar i drooled over.

i had a wonderful birthday celebration at armani's italian restaurant. this is my most favorite place to go to watch the sunset over cocktails and a platter from their large antipasti bar. if you are in tampa bay, you must go. it is a memorable experience.

what a view!. the view and ambiance was great, so was the food. i think the service lacked a little because they were busy. every entree was delicious and great portions. the antipasto bar is awesome!
great place to hang out and take your time eating. we were there for over 4 hours.
ps..expensive night...but we'll worth it!

hyatt should be ashamed. the shell fish didn't smell fresh and the prosciutto was dry. this place was dead and clearly doesn't do the buisness it needs to keep fresh product.

on every level our meal was top notch – the ambiance, taste and company (of course) were woven together with fabulous service and excellent pacing.

beautiful view. beautiful space. beautiful food. expect to pay for all three.
