arepas el cacao

i came here in hopes of a fine meal to cap a great night with friends. i ordered the cacao 1 as per request of the chef. upon receiving the taco/excess waste hybrid, i noticed its weight. particularly heavy for one what might be led to believe was a taco of sorts. i took my first bite and was transported to a civilization where mayonnaise is not used as a diet staple but also as a mortar for brick stacking. there are two types of mayonnaise based delacacies on this dish in the potato salad and the chicken salad, a combination powerful enough to bring even the most grotesque of other worldly beasts to their knees. looking past this, i particularly enjoyed the secondary shredded chicken and pork which were fresh from the grill 2 weeks ago. the dryness in the meat would be great for drown victims in their dying minutes. the arepa was quite nice. i believe they adhered to the traditional venezualan recipe of salteen crackers and drywall. overall i rate my experience 1/10. i believe this meal would be of great use in interrogation chambers worldwide

first time experience. i had the chicken salad and avocado arepa. it was tasty. it had a lot of flavor. there was a language barrier between myself and the employee so it was hard for me to pick out toppings and get a good idea of what toppings they offered. none the less it was something new to try and i enjoyed it.

delicious. fast and good price. will definitely be back! ordered cacao 3 😍 perfection. the shredded beef is so good. the tequeños are perfect too!

my husband and i went to the arepas el cacao food truck for lunch. i had the cacao 3 and it was amazing! the plantains on it were a fun addition. hubs had the cacao 4 and he thought it was good, but he would try something different next time.

no prices shown. ask b4 ordering! i felt like it was a bit pricey for what you get.
don't get me wrong it was good not the best.

the arepas el cacao food truck has a whole menu of meats and cheeses to create your own combination of ingredients. it combines into a warm and appetizing sandwich-like item that fills your stomach.

slice pork with cheese arepa. here is what i noticed:
1. their arepas are fairly big. -i would have to guess that it is about 6″ in diameter.
2. it was seriously stuffed to the max with generous portions of pork and topped with tons of white cheese.
3. they come piping hot! -so be careful taking your first bite!

i could taste was the salty flavors of the white cheese. although, i did, eventually, locate the pork and it was a very well seasoned and flavorful balance but was masked by the cheese.

pork arepas from arepas el cacao were amazing: filled with cheese, pork slices, and more all wraped in an arepa or rice cake. this is a dish most popular in venezuela.
