great atmosphere. we sat at the bar and ate and really enjoyed ourselves. best sweet potato fries i've ever had, hands down. get the blue point blueberry beer.

such a unique, fantasticly decorated restaurant! it automaticly gets my vote for the music choice - big band and swing! anyone who appreciates the genre like i do gets my approval! not only that, but the service and food are great! my husband and i will most definately be back!

this place is what baltimore does best and most unique. take an old corner bar (and what corner doesn't have one) covered in that abomination known as formstone that ruined canton and fells point, tastefully and simply fix it up and serve really good upscale "comfort food". if you really want to succeed go beyond just pub food, don't try to be all things to everyone and play the greatest hits of a 50's milwaukee supper club on your sound system.

the food is terrific. the best the duck fat fries. for once you can actually taste the duck fat in these properly cooked fries. the salads are great with fresh clean greens, i especially enjoyed the flank steak salad with a nice mesclun base, mustard horseradish dressing and a crispy onion topping. (more steak please). i also recommend the madiera/orzo/mushroom soup. mostly, i like the fact that there are about 8 specials every night that keep the menu changing with the season? the chef's whim? i don't care.

brewers' art resurrection on tap and a fair cross section of beers from the world offset the poor wine list. i'm not a cocktail fan but i have to say i love the "into the maelstrom" a dark & stormy kicked up by 151.

the least helpful, the least attentive, the most dull and uninspired wait staff i have encountered. it was as if they were being tortured just taking our orders. the food/drink was good... but we won't go back because nothing ruins a good meal like bad company.

nice place!. so, i'm a simple kind of guy, you will find with any review i write i judge restaurants on an odd scale with minimal detail and basic needs. even with being talked up, annabel lee tavern met or exceeded all my expectations.

first, the menu was great, it was hard to choose from the many attractive offerings. the duck fat fries were better than victoria's gastro pub in columbia. the seasoning was perfect. the fries on their own make me want to go back. the menu was priced a hair on the high side for the portion; however, it is essentially priced inline with its local competition.

the bathrooms (at least the mens) was clean. i don't remember if it was unisex or not. idk why but a dirty bathroom kills a place for me.

the atmosphere is perfect for a few friends chillin' having a beer or date night. i could imagine due to size constraints that larger groups of 6 or more should most defiantly call ahead.

i recall the service to be above average, attentive and cordial.

great crab cake and staff. friendly, approachable staff from kurt on down. crab cake was one of the best in baltimore and the signature drinks hit the spot.

friday night happy hour was spent very happily with my girl, jesica, and at annabel lee tavern (within walking distance of her place! yay!). neither of us had ever stopped by and boy are we glad this neighborhood has been bestowed upon by such a gem! here

the best of baltimore. eat out a lot and find yourself going to the same places over and over again? well my husband and i had that problem until annabel... the special menu changes daily and it is always great selections so repetition now offers us a great variety. thanks annabel lee!!
