dined at a newly opened restaurant “ana” which is located in dubai mall and was so satisfied with the food and service. i tried a bunch of mouthwatering items from their menu which left me amazed..

the biryanis, and appetizers like hummus lollipops, kashmiri dill, puffy halloumi, and hummus har that makes you forget the ordinary hummus. *finger licking good*

chicken shawarma bites, and the chicken slider on the other hand were my favorites as well..

now to the dessert, trying out three different types i would highly recommend the la marella - rich chocolate brownies with soft textured orange sauce mousse, crunchy rice crispy balls served with warm mars chocolate sauce. it’s one of a kind!

ended up with emarati tea and rose lemonade which again impressed me.

as for the interiors, neat and chic with a terrace overlooking the burj khalifa and dubai fountains

life is endlessly delicious, we have visited ana restaurant at dubai mall that served emirati/middle eastern food with some twist on it.
 

the ambiance and the interior decoration of the restaurant is wonderfully designed and very attention to details- wide, spacious and vibrant color, they have also outside view overlooking the dubai fountain.

i like the idea that they displayed books of dr. sultan bin muhammad al-qasimi, shiekhzy, sheikh zayed bin sultan al nahyan which uae consider him the father of the nation, the other book entitled my story which is sheikh mohammed bin rashid al maktoum book that is published to mark the occasion of his fifty years in public service.

the food is delicious and very satisfying, we so love the hiclass mac and cheese, the eggplant fatteh, the rosemary lamb chap is so good, the prawn biryani is so perfect with just the right amount of herbs and spice, and the emirate pizza is a must try too. vimto and saffron cheesecake drink are two of our favorite aside from strawberry mango tea!

the food and drinks presentation was visually tempting, the way the food looks on the plate makes everyone want to taste and eat it. the concept and food preparation was excellent and impeccable.

(i hope they will change the plastic straw to biodegradable soon).

over all food is great but the restaurant needs improvement on their courtesy when handling guess and more effort in making the guess welcome and relax while waiting.

the restaurant also have different kinds of chocolate a local brand and a perfume, ana restaurant is not just a foodexperienceit’s a cultural experience. whether you’re an expat or local ana restaurant - have something for you.

ana is an arabic restaurant located in dubai mall, with breathtaking views of dancing fountain and burj khalifa.

starter - majestic chicken: spicy, crunchy chicken strips with creamy and hot sauce was something that will definitely bring u back to ana.

main course - mbahar chicken: chicken breast with creamy sauce was served with saffron rice and fried mixed nuts was really a treat in itself.

halazoni : chicken cubes marinated with mustard, saffron and mix spices, served with fries. yummy 😋

beef burger: juiciest beef burger we had ever. amazingly delicious.

drinks: strawberry mojito and my all time favorite passion mojito were refreshing.

dessert - freeze dance: fluffy cake served with hot triple milk sauce, cheese cream, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream was the real king to end this heavenly royal dinner.

the food & view is exceptional .. letting people create some beautiful memories.

we ordered :
quinoa tabbouleh salad
followed by
mediterranean shrimps & chicken tacos for starters.

main course was :
1- dyay shiwa - juicy delectable diced chicken breast marinated with garlic, lemon ad yogurt with a side of saffron rice ! wonderful combination ✅

2 - diced beef boti platter served with pickled onion , green herbs and irani roti.
loved the creaminess of the beef .. melting in your mouth with impeccable spices !

finally the 🌟 of the night !

french toast kunafa covered with diced pistachios and filled with creamy goodiness!
this kunafa was one of a kind and truly something we will return for several times!

ana restaurant is a traditional emirati cuisine place where you can enjoy a delightful emirati experience. this place is located in @thedubaimall fashion extension which is also opposite to waterfall area & @burjkhalifa plus they also have a branch in abu dhabi @yasmallad

i have been invited by @ana.restaurant to review their food and place in breakfast and i had an exciting emirati diningexperiencewith their delicious dishes, scintillating views & unparalleled hospitality.

this place has an indoor dining area with beautiful decor and outdoor terrace area where the dancing fountains and crisp air open up a world of internal clarity.

they have an extensive menu which includes breakfast, appetizers, mini burgers, salads, soup, main dish, bbq, dessert and drinks with a lip smacking taste.

didn’t have a greatexperiencein terms of service, we waited a while to be seated by one of the staff members, as well as waiting for someone to take our order. one of our orders wasn’t served. kebab had a smell. mubahar chicken sauce was good but am not sure if the chicken was cooked well as it was very pink. watermelon juice was a bit too sweet.

emirati restaurants have always stuck to their classic hits but ana imagines beyond the regular roots and can be easily considered as a modern emirati restaurant. ana elevates theexperiencewith their creative cooking, blending different worlds together in a particular dish and food is actually a work of art in here and surely instagram worthy. they have now introduced new dishes by experimenting recipes to give diners a unique experience. this is a restaurant that you must visit if you need to find a change from the regular menu and get some exciting flavours for your palate. it will also be the first restaurant that will provide perfumes to use at the end of meal which is a part of emarati tradition to apply perfumes on guests before they leave their home.

i planned my husbands birthday dinner at ana restaurant. from the food to the presentation to the hospitality and the ambiance - everything was beautiful and worth coming too! recommendation: mix grill, prawn mezza and the milkcake with icecream at the end! don’t forget their #togo cold coffee! everything i tried was delicious. the salad was super fresh and they had a twist to all the meals in an artistic way. its a fusion emirati restaurant so you’ll hve lots of options to choose from.
i’d recommend you for a nice date!
my little one was sleepy hence wasn’t a lot of problem- but i’d recommend you toexperiencethis privately to enjoy the most :)

exquisite and modern twist to emirati food, that's my impression at ana.
so if you're at dubai mall do not miss out on this restaurant as it wont fail to impress you. the staffs here are all friendly and the ambiance is pretty elegant.

we were invited to taste their innovative menu and was welcomed by subhash, who was amazing in providing service.
 
so let’s chase and get down what we’ve tasted .  

appetizers:

shelza chz beetrt- 
a healthy option, mixed greens with beet, with some nuts came as a pleasant surprise and quite refreshing.

cream of mushroom soup – rich, creamy and warm which was perfect to start the day.

hummus harr-
this was my favorite, quite different from regular hummus with a twist of blend jalapenos and coriander. which gives the beautiful light green and kick of hotness . 

dill kashmiri-
version of indian street food, this was an absolute delight.
 a crisp fluffy bread stuffed with potatoes and sprouts topped with yogurt, green and red sauces (chutney) and pomegranate seeds. the flavors were were bursting in my mouth. 

mains:

prawn biryani -
this was jus perfect, well cooked and  flavorful rice and a generous amount prawns garnished with fried onion.

prawn and calamari-
fried shrimp and calamari coated with flavored tempura and dipped in a mayonnaise-chilli sauce. that's the best i had.

high-class mac cheese-
crusted spiral pasta with rich creamy cheese, sautéed lobsters, leeks and chives. tis was so cheesy.

drinks: ordered the best sellers’go to and vimto as recommended, it was a hit 

desserts: this has got to be one of my favorite part, a magical show! 

meet me here- 
hot croissant pudding, milk chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, pistachio crunch, blueberry compote. it was a completely a magic.

freeze dance
-
fluffy cake served with hot triple milk sauce, cheese cream, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. wow a perfect way to end the dinner.

at the end, oud (perfume oil), which i think was a great gesture to remember theexperiencefor a long.

ana serves wide varieties of delicious emirati food with amazing water fountain views. this restaurant has an amazing concept and beautiful modern interiors which takes you away from the busy mall experience. i was blessed to try this amazing flavorfulexperiencewith a blend of perfect palate and scrumptious food which ultimately took me to food coma.

i started my evening with some emirati favorite drink - vimto and virgin strawberry mojito followed by some delish cheese, roca & beets salad, prawn mezze, eggplant fatteh, puffy halloumi. more so over we had prawn biryani, grilled salmon & mix grill platter as main course. and of course, we hogged on some mouthwatering desserts – mysterybox, fluffydance and snowman followed by 4 to go coffee milkshake and soothing americano.

i can’t really pick favorites in the menu i tried as everything was well plated and tasted fresh, full of flavors and varieties of texture. thing i noticed about the food served was that it was light on the stomach (not at all oily) made from fresh produce and some dry fruits was used to give rich flavor to the food.

i would also like to mention that their staff was super nice to us and served us with joy and happy face. the place is beautifully designed and has a positive vibe about it.

i have enjoyed every bite of food i ate and of course the tasty 4 to go coffee milkshake.

ana also enhanced myexperienceby offering us some amazing traditional oud fragrance to use with some luxury inhouse made chocolate.

in whole this restaurant was able to play with all my 5 senses and i would love to recommend it to anyone who would love to eat some really tasty emirati food. this tiny hogger, hogged her heart out and left the restaurant in stage of almost food coma.

upon entering the restaurant you would see the elegance all over the place, from the interior to the staff.

now let’s discuss the food.

they served us with a lot of food options so let me generalize everything, from starters to desserts.

by far the first middle eastern/ emirate restaurant which i appreciate the entire food that was served to us, literally.

the food presentation was amazing accompanied with the flavor in each bite.

the man behind the all these was very smart that he was able to combine these two in one.

you would know they are using quality and fresh ingredients from its taste.

a traditional emiratiexperiencelocated at the dubai mall. i had a great time when i visited this place, the ambiance is great and the staff are very accomodating. i started my meal with a good coffee and emirati platter. then, followed by beef tikka, skandar and shashuka (all good). my personal favourite is their rose rice lahem and musical beef shawarma (sounds good? even tastes better). i loved the quality of their food, i never had this good. i highly recommend this place if your planning to have an authentic emirati dinning experience.

have you ever felt like its too good to be true after dining at a restaurant. ana was such anexperiencewhether it be food, drinks , desserts or the ambience everything was top notch. the restaurant has a spacious dining area with outdoor views of burj khalifa and musical fountain. the menu is so elaborate with the pictures of the dishes in a tab so we will have an idea before ordering it.

(disclaimer) this will be my very first review, so please bear with me... 😊

i thought ana restaurant is a good restaurant to start my account. i was inspired to write because of my mealexperienceat ana last night. i was so impressed, over-all, with this f&b outlet! it is definitely one of dubai’s many hidden gems that provides very good quality of food, excellent service, great local modern emaratiexperience(with a twist) and superb location. guys, i am serious you definitely need to visit this place.

food
we started with nice appetizers - calamari, chicken pesto, lamb ouzi on hummous (love this!). they are all amazing! all! the lamb, literally, melts in your mouth. chicken pesto was my favorite, it is very refreshing. i was not able to take photos if our mains as i find them very given although taste is really good! i commend the culinary team as the quality of each menu item is amazing!

ambiance/location
location wise, it is perfect. it has the view of the fountain and burj khalifa. there’s nothing more you could ask for. the restaurant is quite huge that may accommodate a group of as much as 200pax. an opportunity to fix the interior (not major) like re-arranging furnitures, placing something green (plants) around the restaurant that will give life to the atmosphere. the chocolates (that they sell), if i may suggest, need to be displayed by the glass
mirrors or entrance for customers to see them well. i felt too that it lacks background music and that the lights are a bit too bright inside the restaurant.

service
the most important in the f&b experience, their service is admirable, special mention to mark and tessie who assisted us all through out the night. they suggested the best ones in the menu and none of them disappoint.

my recommendation
ana is best for all types of consumers (friends, family and corporate and leisure groups). it is a place where they canexperiencethe authenticity of uae, and so is middle east, and not being overwhelmed with the foreign cuisine as it is has a modern twist to it. definitely bringing friends and tourist for emirati grubs! will sure come back (especially because of the service! i am overly impressed)
