worst meal i've had in years! bowl of soup was tiny and tasteless, shrimp sandwich had 4 tomatoes but only a few shrimp "bits." all i tasted was toasted bread! no seasoning, no shrmp taste, totally bland. the "shrimp" came out of a can. i totally wasted $21.50 but it'll be the last money i waste there! avoid thisplaceat all costs!

aah not a welcoming environment and i felt uncomfortable. just ordered coffee rather than the food i was going to order. never going to come to thisplaceever.

amphora diner herndon. amphora on elden street in herndon has a great atmosphere for dining. the people working there work very hard to keep theplacerunning well. the servers, kitchen workers, and managers work long and hard hours and have to deal with a lot of customers who could care less about what kind of money is being made by these people that work very hard to make a buck. the servers are very professional and are very hard workers. the customers complain way too much and are very rude most of the time at night and the people working there barely make enough to survive in this area. the food there is very good for breakfast and dinner. the salads there are excellent and the burgers are made to your order and are not pre-frozen. the coffee is an excellent blend from italy. go visit and experience an awesome dinner.

great hometown diner. are you looking for a diner that feels like home? a greatplacefor breakfast that is open 24-hours a day? my husband and i have been having sunday breakfast about twice a month for about thirteen years at amphora. we have never been disappointed - eggs benedict various ways, pancakes, french toast, the 'all-the-way' bagel to mention a few. the menu is extensive and the kitchen will make any adjustments that you ask for. we love that waiters and waitresses have been there for years and we have gotten to know many (mary and shawn) -- the service is always wonderful. it is wonderful to have a greatplacethat is comfortable. in addition i host a group one saturday a month for breakfast of anywhere from six to fifteen and the staff always goes out of their way to make us comfortable. the carry-out bakery items are wonderful - if you are ever in doubt and need a dessert try the white chocolate raspberry mousse cake! if you are looking for a comfortable place, with good food and a wonderful staff i recommend stopping by.

just ask...they've got it. my wife and i are regulars. we know most of the waitstaff by name and they know us, and our favorite beverages and food. the waitstaff backgrounds are fascinating when you get to know them a little. their command of languages is impressive, with russian, pashto, arabic, french, dari, nepalese, greek, and of course spanish and english. the food variety is large, with mediterranean and traditional american dominating. this is a very popularplacewith airline aircrews. pasta dishes are substantial and delicious. you won;t leave hungry.

better then ihop. if your looking to spend a little extra on the food then thisplaceis where you want to go at 3 in the morning, though the numerous times i've been here the service has sucked a huge one.

greatplaceif you aren't sure what you're hungry for. they have a little bit of everything, and it's all good. the eggs benedict are quite good, as are the sandwhiches.
