surprised. a friend and i had dinner at amici's last night. the food was excellent as always. the service was very good... until the end of the meal. you often hear people don't take thetimeto dine out, where they enjoy the meal and conversation of friends or family they are sharing the meal with. while my friend and i were attempting to do just that unfortunately we weren't able. we were having coffee and dessert, the waiter repeatedly asked us if there was anything, eachtimewe said no and continued to finish our meal. after a number of times the waiter came to us and said if there isn't anything else we have other reservations and need this table! quite surprised to be asked to leave, it was a first for me. perhaps a saturday evening is not the besttimefor amicis unless you want to eat and run.
