ambience restaurant

firstly i don't think the outside of therestaurantreflects the inside, which is simply yet beautifully decorated in a traditional turkish/mediterranean style.

the cocktails are really delicious and its quite good value for money. the environment is fun and lively which is to be expected and their entertainment is different - belly dancers. i found this interesting to watch especially as it is not very common.

i found the staff super friendly, our waiter led us straight to our table, we were seated straight away and the waitress was very attentive to us throughout the night. 

what i really enjoyed about ambience is the fact that their "kitchen" is open so you can see what and how they're cooking; if you fancy some turkish and you find yourself in wimbledon then i recommend giving ambience a shot! ;)

we started with the hot & cold meze selection both were ok, but needed a little sprucing up! a salad of iceberg, cucumber & tomato is lazy. the main course we shared a mixed grill, which was tasty but lacked any real excitement in the plate, it was served on an untoasted tortilla wrap. lastly with a name like ambience you would expect a great atmosphere but the flashing xmas style lights were very annoying & overall therestaurantwas fairly dark & cold! there are alot better turkish restaurants to find in london!
