one of my favorite thai places in boulder! it’s never too crowded and i’ve always gotten quick and kind service! you can also order the to go online which is very convenient!

okay food, horrible service. i went a few weeks ago, and the service was some of the worst i'd ever had anywhere. our party sat at our table for over 15 minutes before receiving menus, and it was even longer before our waiter even came around to give us drinks.

that being said, the food was pretty good. i'm new to the area, but it seemed pretty decent and was reasonably priced. i would consider going again.

we went here on a weekday for lunch. service was pretty good and the hostess kept checking on us. we started off with the thai cold coffee which was pretty good. it is a little towards the bitter side and not everyone may like it. my friend certainly did not. for the main course we ordered pad thai noodles and decided to order more later. the noodles were really tasty, a little towards the sweet side. the complementary egg spring roll was super crispy and yummy. when the dish first came we thought it wouldn't be enough, but both my friend and i were super stuffed with that one dish. will definitely go again to try more dishes and get a full experience of the place.

the fool here is ok but the portions are ridiculous. i paid over $25 for a dinner salad the size of a side garden salad (and rice is extra mind you) and maybe the smallest portion of drunken noodles i've ever seen, at most 16 oz. two tiny entrees that barely equal one.
i will not be back...unless i hear they lower their prices or make their portions larger.

avoid especially at lunchtime. a friend and i had lunch here. hostess was distracted and was on her cell phone. service was slow. we were seated for 15 min before a waiter ventured our way. i had the hot hot fried rice with seafood. very greasy and not "hot hot" it came with a soup which was like chicken broth out of a can. waiter messed up my friends order. white rice instead of brown rice. same with our desert they gave us a mango sweet instead of the fried ice cream we ordered. the latter was the worst fried ice cream i have ever had. our first and last time at this place.

...both dishes we ordered filled our tummies, warmed our bones and didn’t do much damage to the wallet.

absolutely wonderful. the food was amazing, the flavors within each dish were unique and bold. be careful if you ask for something spicy, they don't hold back.

very good!. pad thai, pad see u, and thai sweet tea are all quite enjoyable. portions are just right for me. the spice scale is wimpy; i have to add a lot of spice to 'thai hot' to make it right. keep in mind, i like to sweat when i eat thai food. try this place out and you won't be disappointed!

i have eaten at chy thai many times (about once a month). it has always been good. the fish cakes are pretty good perhaps the second best in boulder. really like the yellow curry. the staff is always great and have a few moments to chat about asia.

i should have known this wasn't going to be very when i realized everyone who worked wasn't thai . service speed was decent, but food was untraditional. very westernized which takes away from the taste of the food. i ordered chicken phad thai hottess they could make it, it came out pretty weak though

good- vegetarian friendly. i've gone here once and definitely want to go back. friendly and helpful staff. i got the pad thai and requested it be made vegetarian which they did without a fuss. try the thai iced tea as it is equally as delicious as the food.

consistently great food. i highly recomend the curry puffs and thai spring rolls to start and mango sticky rice to finish.
