overpriced skimpy portions. if you truly know good hawaiian food then skip this place! the portions are skimpy and way over priced. i paid $9 for two itty bitty shoyu chicken thighs so small i thought maybe it come from a cornish game hen and it was dry, tough & overcooked. there was 2 small scoops ofrice(yellowish in color which means it is old) and 1 small scoop of mushy and flavorless mac salad. the spam musubi was also miniature size and almost $3 for just one.

the food was great. the staff was nice, checked on me just enough, carried on a great conversation about the food and the area. i got the loco-moco with a side of macaroni salad.ricewas perfect, egg cooked just right, and the hamburger steak was flavorful. i'll be coming back to try other dishes.
