i go to this place for only one reason: kunaffa - kishna!
i think i should end my review there! 😂 but keep reading please...
fell inlovewith their kunaffa (forgive the spelling, they have so many ways of spelling the word that i don't know what's the correct one) the moment i tasted it some five years ago.
in fact, i purposely did not celebrate my past two birthdays with cakes but with a 5kg kunaffa from al nashama. we will put candles on top of it, sing happy birthday, make a wish, and kuala - birthday celebrated! it's more fun that way. plus, my friendsloveit so much that after a few minutes what's left from 5kg of sweet goodness is just an empty tray! 😂
this is certainly one of the many things i will miss when i go back to our home country for good. even my 2 year old daughter would probably miss this, because at an early age she already craves for it.
she knows the store when we park in front of it. she recognizes even the take away bag when i bring one home. and she runs to me the fastest if she sees me holding a bag of kunaffa for her... al nashama has been a household name for us. and nope i am not getting paid by them to advertise their company (although i wouldloveto if they would). but just as they say, it is always a good thing to tell somebody about something good. al nashama is certainly one of them - more kishna please! 😂
so what box is ticked today?
⬜ place
⬜ plate
☑️ palate
⬜ price
⬜ personal touch
p. s. i could have given a higher rate, but just today when i dropped by, i was surprised that one plate already costs qar 10 instead of the usual qar 7.
i just think a qar 3 price increase is quite a high@. maybe they need to offset it by giving a bit bigger serving.. don't you?
comment if you like... hope the management sees this...
