hands down my favourite ice cream/gelato joint in edinburgh, and there are (maybe surprisingly) quite a few!
seriously, i should have bought shares.. i think i may have been in 4 or 5 times some weeks.. even in the middle of winter.. to the point where thestaffnow recognise me... that is how good their gelato is.
annnd, they've recently started serving fresh made waffles.. seriously, there is nothing not to love about this place!
the flavours are ever changing with 18 flavours on offer at any time.. half the fun is taste testing while you decide while half the battle is choosing what order you want them put in the cone.. you have to be strategic about what flavour you want to end with, no joke!
staff are always friendly and chatty, good with giving out tasters and never get impatient when it takes me forever to pick my flavours.
do yourself a favour and stop in if you're in the area.. and even if you're not.. take a detour, it's worth it!
