nice place to hangout with friends. good atmosphere. professional staff. request you to start some local punjabimusiclil bit early .otherwise everything is perfect.

the 3ds - drinks, dance & dishes !!!!!

that's the title which i can resonate with adda. if you want a bit of everything i.e. foot tapping music, varied soft & hard beverages & sumptuous food, without a shadow of doubt, just walk in at adda, as it's the perfect combo for your weekend hangout hub.

located at derabassi. its situated bang on the ambala chandigarh highway in a complex, which also accomodates other food joints as well, including nik bakers, subway, haldirams etc.

ambience is superb. the wooden interiors & overall decor has been undertaken extremely thoughtfully & with a flair. you will surely fall in love with the whole space.

the djmusicwas peppy with a mix & match of bollywood old & new songs, english popmusic& even punjabi songs. the base was damn good. as the night crawls towards a more darker shade, you will find the enterprising one's turning the restaurant into a dance floor, without hindering others' privacy. the whole atmosphere was full of josh & found families & friends enjoying themselves to the core.

they serve varied choices of beverages, both soft & hard. be it your clean hard drinks, mocktails, cocktails..... they have it all. infact, their usp is the draught beer which comes in 4-5 different flavours. the best part is they make you taste all the flavours prior to taking your order, which is complimentary. really liked this peculiar style.

i tried the following in drinks & food :-

- cinnamon draught beer - a mug of this costs approx rs 330/-. nice subtle flavour. roll your tongue in the beer, & you would certainly taste the mild flavour of cinnamon. highly recommended.

- galauti kebab : for heavens sake, please don't expect it to be the typical galauti kebabs which you get in lucknow, as you will be dissapointed. however, this one too is worth. nice flavour there. quality of mutton used was good. served with a cub shaped papad, caramelized onions & a med spicy mayo kind of sauce. the presentation is indeed impressive.

- chilli garlic fish : fish was tender. lots of veggies including spring onions, capsicum etc. it could have been a bit more flavourful. the sauces used were very mild. not spicy at all. just about average in taste.

- chicken malai tikka : simply awesome. my best pick amongst the three dishes that i ordered. marination was just perfect. chicken was super tender. immensely flavourful. served in the same format as galauti kebab. highly recommended.

the service was very prompt. mr pankaj served us. found him very warm & congenial. very energetic. really liked his conduct. he is worth praising indeed.

so, if you desire good food, peppymusic& drinks galore under a single roof, adda is the place for you. strongly recommended.

only issue was thatmusicwas too loud. so communicating with the person on the other side of the table is pretty challenging. be an early bird on weekends, else you might have to wait for considerable amount of time.

themusicis always awesome here, though they have limited options for beer but it taste great.

knockout beer is their most selling.

i enjoyed the new kiwi flavor beer. taste was really nice and different. would recommended everyone to try their beer and mexican food tacos and rice bowl. 5 star for ambience andmusicas well..adda is the happening place outside tricity

starting from ambience, the open terrace is the perfect place for an evening dinner.musicis also played at a very smooth level. we ordered non veg platter which was really tasty.
their craft beer tastes really nice.would love to come back here again

adda by soi 7, is located in the namaste complex on the outskirts of chandigarh on delhi chandigarh highway. i agree that it's too far, however if you are in the mood for a long drive and want to move out somewhere from the hustle bustle of city life and want to experience something new unlike the clubs of sector-26 clubs, then it would be my suggestion that you should rush to this place.

we visited this place in the evening yet i must agree that i enjoyed their ambience. they have curated this whole place very intelligently and have used every inch of space. when you enter this place you will see multiple quotes hanging on the walls and a big jumbo photo chair for all those photo lovers. not only this it's an heaven for those who love to get themselves clicked trust me you will get lots and lots of spots their to be clicked with.
their is a projector at the staircase wall, projecting dancing images. this was something new for me to see.

they have divided the entire place into two outdoors and an indoor section. both indoor and outdoor place has a striking apperance with varying sitting options like sofa, high chairs, quirky stools and leathered chairs. they have two bar counters one inside and one outside. they have created a deck section in an outdoor section from where you can sit and enjoy a peaceful sight out of the highway traffic and crowd. on the other hand in another outdoor section you can sit and enjoy lush green lawn and plants planted in the crates all over. inner section was brightly lit by using retro tungsten bulbs. most important point that i want to mention here is they have not playedmusicvery loud unlike other clubs in chandigarh so you can sit and chat easily. in short i was aghast by their ambience. top notch!!

let's talk about their food now. we ordered veg platter and veg salt and pepper.
platter was ok,could have been better in taste. everything was properly cooked and roasted however the flavour was missing i would say. out of panner tikka, kunbh nawabi, malai brocolli and roasted pineapple in platter, i only liked roasted pineapple.
veg salt and pepper was ok in taste(although when it arrived i didn't expected that because it was looking very pale).vegetables were crisp and cooked perfectly but again on the flavour part something was a miss.
they were having four flavors of brewed beer. though all four of then were good, but i liked two of them more. the one that we ordered was blueberry flavor.

staff needs to improve their serving speed as it was too slow.

in the end i would definitely recommend this place. don't worry about the distance. i can bet you will not regret being there.

well this place is best in the town.first ever brew in dera bassi. i visited 2-3 times here. staff isvery co-operative. livemusicis also availsble here. must go and enjoy here

this place is really cool on the top of delhi chandigarh highway makes this place highway hub they have their own brewed liked the wheat beer. greatmusicand food staff is very well educated.kip it up.

one of my favourite places in chandigarh. the outdoor setting that opens to a playground and railway track is just out of the world. awesome wheat beer. not a fan of their cocktail. love themusicthere- appeals to the 90s generation. food is good.

so i have been waiting to visit this "hello of the awesome place" i have enjoyed the awesome cobra punch which felt like the best i have ever had and the pizza they have best pizza out there which is baked in front of you using real wood fire...
a much recommended place to have fun with your family and loved ones.

their service is super fast and the ambience and themusicour dj sandy his collection ofmusicis awesome.

a special thanks to their gm mr. vikram, he has been managing all his crew and every other guest... i met him and he is so kind. his management is superb.

i have in chandigarh for the last one year and was still looking for a place that gave me the feel of what bombay pub have and honesty this place was it.
place is setting in the main ambala -chandigarh highway stylish decor, great music,well prepared and well presented food of good quality.
