ab's - absolute barbecue

soumitra and amrendra were exceptional in their hospitality. inspite of heavy crowding at the restaurant, they were sublime in their efforts to ensure we were helped to allfooditems

thefoodis cold, tasteless, items missing and wastage of money.

overallfoodwas good except veg biryani. it was smelling bad. i think they should consider jeera rice instead of biryani. rest starters and dessert was tasty.

absolute patheticfoodand services. waste of money. one should eat dal-bati at dhaba instead and donate rest of the money to poors.

the vegetarianfoodtaste was not upto the mark of ab’s what it’s known for. the vegetable taste was either salty or tasteless, even as an example the ladyfinger seems to be left over vegetables cooked for sunday offer. management should take care of customers reviews as once customer lost will be difficult to get back since in ahmedabad we have many options.

goodfoodis served at absolute barbecue, i also checked some previous reviews but in last 10-12 days i found that whom so ever had reviewed this restaurant is trying to defame it.... may be it's not like barbecue nation or so but comparing one absolute with other is your mistake.... i better prefer personal experience and even though getting negative reviews i decided to go there and had a lunch and it was good ...staff was attentive and preparing the things as you want on their live counter .... बाकी भाई जिनको ऑर्डर देना भी नहीं आता या फिर खड़े होकर लाइव काउंटर पे जाना भी नहीं पसंद उनके लिए may be ये restaurant अच्छा नहीं होगा बाकी मेरे हिसाब से तो अच्छा हैं , क्या हैं ना मेरेको चलना पसंद हैं और में खुद जाके अपने ऑर्डर लाइव काउंटर पे देता हूं , हां अगर कन्वेयर बेल्ट लगा दे तो bully reviewers को अच्छा लगेगा नहीं ????!!!!😅😅😅

हां अगर थोड़ा pricing सही हो जाए तो और भी बढ़िया हो जाए बाकी ऐसे भी अच्छा ही हैं !!!

if you are planning to visit bopal branch then you may also face these issues.
cake on floor, which ruined my shoes, i have to go to washroom to clean it. just assume how bad it is when you are cleaning your shoes sole with jet spray gun.
no buffet, only make to order. and top of that no such information shared prior to visit.
behaviour of management needs to be improved. abs should send them to professional branches (like in bangalore) to show them how it works.
they should understand that people are not paying just for the food, they want experience and mood. and if abs can't maintain that then no use to go there. you can orderfoodat your home also.
anyway this was my first restaurant visit in ahmedabad after coming from bangalore and it didn't went well. so, here it is what i think about ahmedabad - it's a city of unprofessional and businessmen, so don't expect anything here and hire a broker to get basic services. next i will get a broker who can tell me which restaurant is good for me.

i had been to ab bb earlier, thefood& service was better.

this time ( 12th feb) i had worst experience of service and food. to start with soup , it was too watery. i opted for some chickens soup, however there was no chicken. the taste was pathetic , as if am drinking some green coriander flavor water.

the service was very very very slow. they even did not clean the vacated tables. also i had to request them to take the used and empty serving bowls and plates from my table.

buffet was ok.. not worth a try, sunday they served laal maans but again there was no meat inside., some bones and an ocean of thin gravy. (neither did it taste anything like laal maans)

they also forgot to take order of our drinks, i had to remind them for 3 times and after 40 odd mins they brought our drinks .

biriyani was item that was good,

i feel guilty of going there and spending such money for this service and food.

1) ambience was very nice and happening.
2)foodwas delicious, from soup to dessert everything was perfect.
3) service was excellent and everyone was so welcoming and nice..

special note - farhad from staff was so good, that guy just won our heart.. thank u so much team absolute barbecue..

tapas services are very good and thefoodand other disserts are so delicious.......................
