a great biriyani joint in chetpet. their biriyani is plentiful n can satiate two ppl's hunger. starters were priced on a higher side but was tasty.
better than any other biriyani joints in the region.

i have been to this place once for a lunch without checking any ratings or reviews. we just found it on the way to home and entered here.

we have ordered two hyderabad dum briyani and a kebab as a starter. i must say briyani was very very tasty and the flavours, spices made the dish extra ordinary. we got a kg briyani delivered once which was also yummy and delicious.

rating is only for briyani as i haven't tasteed most of other dishes there. overall 4 stars for their mutton briyani..

today we went to the restaurant at 3.30pm. we had two starters green chilli fish fry ,shaan eh murgh and burmese prawn fried rice, butter naan, butter roti, and pepper chicken masala. every dish was good at its taste. expect the prawn fried rice. one thing we enjoyed was the late lunch time.

walked in here at 2.15 in the afternoon... i was told the biriyani is finished... don't call yourself a biriyani place if you're biryani is gonna get over as early as 2.15...

located in a great location in chetpet, this place is owned by abid, an avid restauranter who's owned great places like fisherman's fare at its peak. the owners are experienced and the promise of quality is not broken.

the place is a traditional restaurant that promises good food, decent ambience and amicable service. the food is prepared well with fresh ingredients and the quality is consistent. so, i appreciate the quality and consistency, but, there is nothing over the top here. the food is above-average at best and average at its worst. the portion sizes are decent. i'd give this place a go, because by chennai standards, it somehow manages to perform consistently and hygienically.
