from ambience and decor to staff to food and coffee, abaca does not disappoint.
i love the displays of artworks in their crossroads branch, and the staff is very attentive.
their food is top-notch. whether you're ordering breads, pastries, or meals, you definitely won't get disappointed.
great for breakfast with friends (and their hazelnut latte is to die for).
just -- expect to spend some cash. their food is not exactly cheap (but definitely worth it).

we had a 12 hrs layover in cebu. it brought us here! when i am searching for cafes in cebu using zomato, this appears on top. the cafe has several branches in cebu.

i tried their flat white coffee and lemon meringue tart. the coffee was really good! it's not that sweet. it's way better than your typical sb coffee. the tart is just so so. just skip it. they have several pastries that really looks masarap. i hope i can still visit this place

1. atmosphere/ ambiance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
lovely place. i like the series bulbs. i like the murals outside when you look up.
2. cleanliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
3. service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
they are always great. by the time you enter you are immediately greeted with nice sincere smiles. you then get recommendations on what they have on their menu and what is freshly baked or new on the menu.
4. food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
others may find the price range expensive but here are some choices where you don't have to spend alot but still feel full after. you may want to get their fries, their daily quiche or just choose one of their sandwiches.
5. accessibility of the resto: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

simply one of the best cafe/bakery in the city.  this is the place you can bring your foodie friends from manila and let them at a place that can rival the best in makati or taguig. delicious baked goodies are sold at reasonable prices and the vibe of the place is just awesome. if you want to get discounted prices for their breads and pastries, you may come before closing time at any of their branches.

this is the best place to eat, relax and unwind. specially after a long day at work. i really love their brewed coffee, surprisingly cheap as well. im not a sweet tooth person so i always choose their freshly baked croissants. ambiance wise, its a type of place where you and your friends can talk all day long. 😄

lamington is a must-try. i really haven't tried their coffee because i like coca-cola with my brownies.
staffs are friendly and attentive. they're very eager to help you. prices are reasonable.
i also love the ambiance...the paintings add a cozy and artistic vibe to the place.

great coffee - free refill before 10am!
great food - love the eggs benedict and the abc skillet
great bread options - bagels, english muffins, sourdough...,
great ambience - very cosy, features art from the neighboring gallery, nice location at the crossroads, banilad and now they have branches at the ayala center cebu, robinsons cybergate and at banawa. [edit: just found out that they now have a branch at robinsons galleria. happy days!']

great place to have breakfast, meetup with friends. slightly pricey but quality is really good.

the crossroads
abaca baking company is a quaint cafe located at crossroads mall, banilad, cebu city. we had a bit of trouble finding this place because crossroads is a bit small and most of the people we asked were not familiar with the place so i suggest you take a cab and tell the driver it's in gov. m. cuenco ave. across nfa-cebu.

i love the interior of the cafe. it's ambiance gives you a very comfy, homey feel. we ordered their waffles with caramelized banana and pecan (so good!), and the skillet breakfast composed of bacon, sausage, beans, eggs, potatoes, tomatoes and two slices of bread. the food is good for sharing, delicious and filling. and the coffee is so good i can't stop raving about it! i ordered their signature abc coffee (which is not on the menu) and it's one of the best coffee i've had.

tip: visit abaca when it's near closing time (we were there at around 8:30pm because they close at 10pm) to score breads and pastries at a discounted price.

my mom loves bread, and so we get accustomed to it, and learned to love it too. we were blissful to have known that there is this new bread shop in the metropolis, the abaca baking company.

i am loving the taste of the breads that we purchased.
