my monthly visit to my favourite restaurant. not saying my favourite arabian restaurant becauseaazebois not exclusive to arabian cuisine anymore. the hyderabadi delicacies they have added to their menu over the years are better than those served at legendary hyderabadi restaurants.

following the slow-n-steady policy, aazebotake their sweet own time in expanding the menu. but whenever they add a new item, it is already at the crest of perfection, leaving no room for feedback on improving it. no wonder within a span of two years, they're ruling the class in tolichowki, a locality that is home to the highest number of arabian restaurants in the new city.

mutton margh: simply the best margh you can find in hyderabad and it has just gotten better with the recent addition of saffron.
price: 400 taste: 5/5

fish makhli: a crumb fried fish starter that you find at almost every modern cafe. this one ataazebois a steal deal because besides being amazing in taste, the portion you get will easily match two portions at other restaurants.
price: 420 taste: 4/5

seekh kebab: not spicy like indian, not so bland like arabian. aazebo's seekh kebab is a balance between spicy and mild. the pure ghee aroma is another value add. however i like my seekh kebab spicy🔥
again, the biggest portion you can find anywhere in hyderabad.
price: 500 taste: 3.5/5

juicy mutton mandi: probably the biggest reason i can't resist visiting this place every few days. the level at which the mutton is cooked, perfect would be an understatement. you have to try it to believe it
price: 480 (full) taste: 5/5

madfoon mutton mandi: madfoon comes from the word dafan which means 'to bury'. mutton is burried in the ground to cook. so you can imagine the level of tenderness and the flavours that sink in. another masterpiece by aazebo.
price: 490 (full) taste: 4.5/5

fruit ka meetha: this is actually fruit trifle, hyderabad style. a brick of vanilla ice cream sits on a slab of sponge cake topped with dry fruits on a bed of custard full of fresh fruits and again dry fruits. i don't even need to describe what it tastes like. let the pictures do the talking!
price: 600 (full) 150 (single) taste: 5/5

middle eastern cuisine is increasingly influencing not just what, but also how we eat. whilst its dishes and tastes are becoming more widespread in the eastern world today, evidence suggests the dawn has already happened. eastern food culture has transformed in the last two decades— driven by factors including globalisation, changing lifestyles, health, wellbeing and sustainability. during this revolution, middle eastern cuisine has grown its presence in non-traditional markets dramatically—bringing rich, authentic dishes considered both flavoursome and healthy, to tables across the world.
hyderabad’s obsession with biryani is well known across the globe, but that's not the only rice and meat medley in the city that is worth raving about. to add up to the list, mandi has become an all-times favorite of many food joints. there are many in the twin neighborhoods who trace their progeny to hadramaut in yemen. and when are talking about mandi, aazebois place you should be for relishing on this dish in its truest format. to add up to the list of mandi variants, aazebobring forth razbi laham with mazbi rice. basicaly, in this variant the lamb is slowly grilled & then cooked in special middle east spices with mutton stockto impart the much needed taste. onto the mazbi rice, its flavoured with black pepper corn in addition to the standard ones being utilized for mandi rice. topped with 2-4 big mutton chunks, this entire portion of mandi is something to look out for.
from the salad section, arabian salad & russian salad isn't to be missed at all, arabian variant having tomato, onions, cucumber tossed with pomegranate n chips, however russian salad takes the palate a notch up higher with veggies & fruits tossed in a creamy sauce making it more appetizing.aazebospcl chicken & fish maqli deserve a special mention from the quick bites section owing to the flavourful meat in every morsel.
to wind up, umm ali is a great pick from the sweet section, a dish with roots from egypt which is a bread pudding with nuts & rasins mingled in condensed & normal milk - which is absolutely delicious. lastly, fruit ka meetha is a raving dessert at this place, basically an entire block of vanilla ice-cream placed on a bed of a thin slice of cake with loads and loads of dry fruits & cream; have it to believe it.

aazebo !
located right next to rto office tolichowki my very first visit to this branch ofaazebowas delightful.aazebohas always been talk of the town for serving palatable mandi with authentic arabic style seating arrangements and well lit interiors this place surely makes you feel comfortable and now that they've extended their seating capacity hyderabadi's can enjoy a lil extra than usual they also have a private dining room which can accommodate upto 40 people easily !! talking about the food now
russian salad - super creamy start to the meal with blanched veggies and exotic fruits with a dallop of mayonnaise !!!
arabian salad - quite refreshing and flavoursome! it had a crisp element in it and then exotic veggies along with some pomegranate seeds !!
fish maqli - i personally loved this starter the most ! basa fish marinated and coated well then deep fried to give the crispy from out and tender from inside texture !!
laham kebab - sheekh kebabs super moist and juicy with perfect balance of spices and when had with a slice of onion and a squeeze of lime it tasted heavenly!!
prawns - golden fried loose prawns served along with a salad ! prawns marinated in subtle yet flavourful batter then deep-fried to give the crispy texture!!
razbi laham with mazbi rice - here comes the star dish ! razbi laham with mazbi rice quite different from mandi as in this we get a lil extra spice with hints of pepper corn and rice is grainy and perfectly cooked with spices the duration of marination and cooking is different for razbi and mandi razbi is marinated for 8 hours and also it is a lil high on spice well a great choice for spice lovers !!
saudi champagne - much needed after a very delightful meal !! super refreshing !! a fizzy drink made of apple juice, orange juice, soda, wedges of sweet lime, apple and oranges topped with mint leaves !!!
umm ali - a warm and delectable dessert made of puff pastry, milk, pistachios, raisins and sugar well this ain't that sweet and people who prefer their desserts to be warm and mild sweet then this can be their go to dessert !!
fruit ka meetha - well i kid you not ! this had to be the showstopper !! i'm sure everyone's aware of this dessert served in every typical hyderabadi wedding and who doesn't love fruit ka meetha!aazebois firstly known for serving the authentic mandi and then for the fruit ka meetha! a slab of icecream placed on a moist sponge cake topped with jam exotic fruits fresh cream and dry fruits well words fall short to describe this ! very eye appealing and i must say heavenly bliss !! do drop by to the nearest outlet ofaazeboand try their amazing food to experience it yourself !!!!!

though a foreigner, the arabian mandi vanquishes its rivals from the royal banquets in hyderabad. aazebo, is always a safe bet to have mandi. whataazebobrings to the table for mandi lovers is quality and authenticity. they make their mandi super traditional and serve it with a bunch of sides.this particular place is pretty famous here in hyderabad as they have never compromised with their taste and quality. the ambiance will give you the perfect arabian vibe, from the arabian custom of seating on the floor with cushions and carpets and relishing the food till adequate lighting and interior to make the look and feel of the place perfect.
one will be greeted with an 'on the house' starter soup which is delish!
russian salad :: this is a creamy salad made out of finely cut boiled vegetables and some fruits mixed with mayonnaise!
arabic salad :: this authentic arabic salad is made with well-seasoned fried pita bread, seasonal vegetables and feta cheese
laham sheekh kebab :: prepared with minced mutton, onions and a blend of spices, this will blow your mind with extraordinary flavors, juicy minced mutton that melts away in your mouth.
fish maqli :: this arabic fish fry , made out of basa fish was an absolute delight, being crispy on the outside and soft juicy in the inside.
golden fried prawns:: among all the dishes, this deserves a special mention. it is a simple yet very luscious dish made with prawns marinated in a very simple battered paste and deep-fried until golden in color.
razbi laham with mazbi rice :: all the way from yemen, the difference between mazbi and mandi is that the meat in mazbi is grilled and not baked like it’s done for mandi and the rice is soft and more flavorful.
um ali :: this sweet dish is nothing, but an equivalent of bread pudding prepared with puff pastry rolls, milk, vanilla essence, sugar, nuts and raisins. this is for all those who like their desserts with mild sweetness.
fruit ka meetha :: the most loved dessert, that is usually served in hyderabadi dawats. brick of ice cream served over soft sponge cake, which is spread over a whole plate of heavy cream mixed with exotic fruits and dryfuits. an absolute delight!!!

i love going toaazebobecause they have some serious comfort food. my favorite combination here has to be mutton juicy mandi andaazebospecial faham chicken.
we were served with saudi champagne and marag-e-aazebo. the maragh was really tasty. then we were served withaazebospecial faham chicken which is my favorite. the sauce with which the chicken is drenched with is to die for. the faham chicken with the bread combo is epic. then we had syrian grilled fish. i enjoyed this too as it dint have that seafood smell and taste and was fresh. moving on we had the mix grill platter which has chicken, mutton fish elements. the sheekh kebab was very succulent and the fried fish was good too. then we had baklawa and basbousa. i dint enjoy the baklava much. needs some improvement. basbousa was decent. then we ended our meal withaazebospecial fruit ka meetha which was epic. it was the typical fruit and icecream dessert which is usually served at the weddings but this one was much better. i could eat the whole plate by myself lol. on the whole had a great experience. a little tweaking of few dishes, besides that loved the food.

after hearing so much about hyderabad crowd's latest mandi favorite, we all landed here for a late family lunch. the place is done up beautifully with pretty lighting and carpeting and i really liked that everything looked clean and hygienic, unlike a few other mandi places that tend to have great food but grubby-looking carpets and seating. the family dining section on the second floor is really spacious and can easily fit in several customers even during peak time rush hour.

we ordered the all mix mandi and the mutton matfoon and i found everything extremely yummy and tasty. portion sizes were also generous as any mandi plate is supposed to be and the meat served was also enough to feed the dozen family members present. the rice was seasoned well and was adjusted to be a tad bit spicier than the the original mandi, probably to accommodate the spicy hyderabadi palate.

the mutton in the mutton matfoon mandi was this gorgeous gunk of meat that was so beautifully spiced and was melting in its own wrapped gravy and we all thoroughly lapped it all up happily. i am just taking a star away because i would've like the rice also to be a bit less dry, considering the meats in the rice were so soft and succulent. i'll definitely edit my review if there is an improvement next time i visit.

the star of the show obviously has to the famous ice cream fruit dessert that has so conspicuously invaded hyderabadi weddings and was once only an acclaimed wedding speciality.aazebohas now brought it to your table, quite accessible on their menu. the quantity was well enough to feed the whole family and if we hadn't stuffed ourselves do much with the mutton matfoon, we'd definitely have ordered a second helping.

all in all, a lovely place to go with large group and family and enjoy a heart meal filled with amazing tastes and varieties. definitely gonna be back.

the hitech city branch ofaazebois one of my favourite mandi places in town. the arabian mix mandi is an absolute delight. i must have visited them more than 6-7 times and never been disappointed.

on the contrary, my dinner experience at tolichowki branch was exactly opposite. starting from the restaurant being dirty and having cockroaches everywhere to the food in every aspect.

we ordered 2 arabian mix mandi's and they replaced it with mutton madfoon. as i know the dish, i questioned them saying this is not the mutton we get in arabian mix mandi and they replied saying the other is not available.

the chicken pieces had a pungent smell. it was surely spoilt. the restaurant got it replaced however the same issue was persistent so we asked them to take the chicken away and replace it with french fries as only that tasted ok.

the uncle who is the owner came and addressed a terrible incident with our order which i would not specify publicly as it can damage the entire reputation of the restaurant.

i hope the management takes strict and immediate actions to improve the hygiene, quality and condition of the tolichowki branch. because one complaint from our end with the photo proof we have can cause a lot of damage to their reputation. currently i am not taking any actions as i sincerely like the food they make (atleast the hitech city branch).

visitedaazebotolichowki last weekend with friends for lunch.

the place really gives a vibe of arabian culture. with separate cabinates and floor seating, the place looks really vibrant and beautiful.

coming to food. we tasted a lot of dishes, and their specials from the menu.

we started off with marag. it was really good. the mutton was so well cooked that the flesh just fell apart from the bone. next we tried faham chicken. this was fried chicken tossed in arabian sauce. very good in taste. we also tried fish, that was good but lacked some flavours. could be more flavourful. next we tried their special platter, that had different varieties of chicken, mutton seekh and fish. this was really like the one you get in weddings and we really had a good time feasting on it, giggling and laughing.

next we tried their mutton special mandi. it did have flavours but lacked little in taste. the mutton pieces, both the tandoori and juicy one were well cooked, but i felt that the rice could have been little more flavourful.

to end the meal we tried fruit ka meetha and baklava. both were really good. overall an amazing experience.

‘aazebo' opened its second outlet in hyderabad along the busy food streets of tolichowki. serving authentic arabian cuisine in an elegant & spacious restaurant with well-lit interiors, this place has already made chaos amongst food lovers in the city. the place has both table and floor sitting options with separate air conditioned dining areas for family.

we were invited for a food tasting session and the review for the place is as follows:

soups:
the piping hot 'marag-a-aazebo' served with chaukoni naan had succulent cuts of mutton simmered for hours that gave a signature subtle flavour to the broth.

appetisers:
the 'grilled basa fish fry' served alongside hot pita bread and hummus, had melt in the mouth basa fish coated with signature arabic spices and grilled to perfection. the 'azeebo special chicken' had perfectly char grilled chicken tossed in a sweet and tangy sauce was absolutely brilliant. the 'aazebo special mix platter' consisted of succulent mutton seekh kebab, crispy fish fry, spicy chicken wings, juicy chicken tikka and crispy fried chicken served with garlic mayo and hummus which is a must order.

main course:
the 'aazebo special mix mandi' of the yemeni origin had mutton cooked two ways, grilled chicken , fragrant basmati rice with dry fruits and a mixture of various spices that gave the dish its authentic flavours.

desserts:
the 'baklava' had sweet dessert pastries made with layers of filo filled with chopped nuts, sweetened with sugar syrup. the 'basbusa' cake had a citrus scent and flavor completed with a hint of rose aroma. the 'aazebo special fruit ka meetha' had ice cream served over thin slice of cake with loads and loads of dry fruits.

enjoy an authentic arabian feast this summer with family and friends at 'aazebo'.
.
recommendations:
marag-a-aazebo,aazebospecial mix platter, aazebospecial mix mandi, aazebospecial fruit ka meetha', baklava
.
taste:4/5 , ambience: 5/5 , service:5/5 , price:5/5 , overall 5/5

aazebo is located on towlichowki road opposite to pista house. all the mandi lovers should head out to this place for some authentic and food quality food! it’s affordable as well. the place is arranged in an authentic arabic style where the food is served on one large plate and there is no table seating. arabs have their own way of eating where they usually sit down together and eat from one plate.
what we ordered:
faham chicken
mixed mandi plate
aazebo mixed platter- do try the crispy fried chicken!recommendation:
1. grilled basa fish fry was super soft and tender with not much spices so those who are not into spicy food would like it.
2. marag a-aazebo(mutton soup) was so delicious with the right amount of spices. it was not too oily as well. this soup is usually eaten with bread. don`t forget to have it only when it`s hot :d
last but not the least, it`s worth tying their desserts here. baklava was decent in taste, basboua being a traditional dish made of soji tasted good. lastly, most favorite item wasaazebospecial fruit ka meetha. it`s a trifle pudding served with ice cream, moist cake, topped with lots of fruits and garnished with dry nuts.

my quest for the next best mandi in hyderabad took me to tolichaoki today where we have a new extry opened about 4 months ago. technically not new since they have their first branch running successfully at hitech city madhapur. i am referring toaazebolebenese resraurant
the place is quite simple but beautiful. colourful painted walls with lovely ambient lightings. they have the common seating on the first floor and family setup on second.
the owner mr younus was a delight to talk to. the staff was attentive and quick
we ordered for my favourite juice mutton mandi full portion which consisted of sumtious rice along with 2 juicy peaces of mutton @ 390/-
before serving mandi we were served with chicken broth soup which was very tasty. it had little bit of fresh cream added to it which made it 5 folds tastier.
then once we were done with the soup we were served with mandi rice sprinkled with fried onions, nuts and raisins along with tomato salsa snd garlic mayonese
the rice was quite flavourful on its own. mixing mayo, salsa sause with mutton made it tastier.
they have a huge variety of other lebrnese dishes. could not order anything else since we were extremely full with what was served to us. may be in my next visit ill try something else and add to this review.

over all i loved this place

it is no surprise thataazeborestaurant is highly embraced as being one of the best places for mandi in town by most of us. i personally have been visiting them a lot for their mutton juicy mandi which is execptionally good. upon getting a chance to try their new menu, i visited aazebo, tolichowki branch and was mesmerized by the architectural wonders that give the place a beautiful middle eastern look.
the ambience is well lit and impressive.
soon enough their new menu was introduced to us!

russian salad and arabian salad were brought in first. both the salads were great, depends on what out of these do you prefer more.
my favorite was russian salad, loved the dressing & the fresh veggies added!
starters:
arabian laham kebab: mutton sheekh kebabs, very different from what we get at rest of the places, packed with authentic flavours, absolutely the star dish of the day (apart from the razbi laham)
fish maqli: crispy fried fish with a delicious crisp on the outside & tender juicy fish on the inside.
prawns: these were loose prawns and tasted delicious.

food ataazebohas never been disappointing, not sure of the other dishes but atleast the mutton juicy mandi as mentioned before! but this time, i found another one to add into my list of favourites fromaazeboand that would be razbi laham with mazbi rice, a famous middle eastern mandi styled dish.
as the name says, this one was served with razbi laham (mutton), the pieces were amazingly succulent and absolutely delicious.
the rice served on the plate is good enough for 3-4 people, they do have options though: full and special mazbi. hence, depending upon the number of people, one could make a choice.
razbi laham with mazbi rice is launched only at the tolichowki branch for now, this would be introduced in madhapur soon.

for desserts, umm ali and fruit ka meetha were served.
umm ali is an appetizing egyptian/arabic pudding and is totally worth a try!
fruit ka meetha is a well known dessert and is loved by hyderabadis. the dessert is loaded with nuts, fruits, dried fruits and icecream. if you are a group of 4-6, one dessert would suffice!
