903 mills market café

903 mills market is tucked away in a predominantly residential area slightly south of downtown orlando.  the vibe is that of a trendy corner neighborhood market and is quite popular among the locals.  a handful of tables outside always seem to be filled with orlandoans drinking coffee or enjoying a leisurely brunch on the weekends. we visited on a sunday morning, ordered our food in the counter inside than settled into a cozy table in front of the restaurant.  we first ordered the 903 appetizer platter , a sample of their most popular dishes including hummus, olive tapenade, fire-roasted salsa and black bean corn salsa. we enjoyed the platter, my favorite item being the olive tapenade with sun-dried tomatoes .  my only complaint was that the appetizer was brought at the same time as the sandwiches we also ordered.  this sort of defeated the purpose of it being an “appetizer”.

great selection and quaint outdoor seating. not too expensive and good food but nothing spectacular. worth a trip if you live in the area! good drink specials and salads, we brought our dog and grabbed some sangria! good restaurant but not 5 star food. would go back to try other salads.

good sandwiches, relaxed atmosphere, ok staff. this place reminds me of an old country store. i like the relaxed neighborhood atmosphere, the sandwiches are great and the happy hour is chill. it's not as hippie as it looks though, i live in the neighborhood and was rudely called out for bringing my bike inside when placing a to-go order. the staff is hit or miss, as some waiters can be a bit impatient.

this place is food. just don't call them at 8:45 expecting to get a take out order even though because to their name they are open till "9:03." i was told the kitchen closes at 8:50 even though i was calling at 8:45. go figure!

just one cool place to eat, have a cold one and hang out, recommend.

i've tried pretty much everything on their menu, but i rarely stray from either the philly or the 903 club. i like how they've fixed up the place the last few years. the seating and atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is very friendly. i encourage you to stop by and support this local business.

great atmosphere. we stopped in here the other day for lunch, great little deli like resteraunt with a few extra options, i ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a fruit cup side (trying to be on a diet). the pulled pork was very moist and came on a toasted french roll with a side of mustard base bar b q sauce, very good. we ended lunch with a couple of their cookies that we're just as good as the lunch. the atmosphere was very warm an relaxing the majority of the seating is outside, there is a bit of a wait for your food so it gives you time to relax and enjoy the setting and your company, the staff is very friendly and parking is a bit challenging but don't let this discourage you away from this place, there is limited parking in the front and back but plenty across the street by the lake!

love this place!. this was a complete surprise!! i loved the neighborhood feel of this place. it was strange walking into a grocery store/market looking place, knowing i'd be ordering dinner there. there is a vast array of different beers and wines, which was very cool.

the food was good. i ordered a chicken taco salad and my friend got their grateful bread, which was thanksgiving items (turkey, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce) between two pieces of wheat bread. surprisingly good. i would have preferred the chicken in the taco salad to have been hot, but it was good nonetheless.

dee-licious. they have really cool and tasty salads and sandwiches, and a truly awesome selection of craft brews in their single beer case. you must try the grateful bread! it is so yummy and pretty reasonably priced.

we stopped by 903 mills market for a quick dinner recently. we've heard rave review about the place and were even more intrigued when we pulled up to the historic building. check out the history of the building here . while the inside of the building has a liquor/convenience store vibe, the vast beer selection and the cream-of-the-crop staff transform it into so much more. (seriously, the ladies of 903 mills market even posed for us!) the menu is amazing. everything i love was on that menu, veggie burgers, hummus,tapenade, falafel, flat breads. it was truly a feast of epic proportions. i enjoyed a mango beer to wash it all down. the weather was just right to sit and watch the world pass by. it was such a relaxing way to dine! check out the gallery to get a feel for the atmosphere, but it's really one of those thing you just have to experience for yourself!

top to bottom great. this is an enjoyable place to go and have a bit of lunch. dining outside in this neighborhood atmosphere is a delight. the sandwiches are very good and healthy portions. service is always up to par and nice. will go back over and over. actually we have .

we had the 'pick 2' with the lake eola spinach salad and the california club/lake davis salad and blt. food was good. portions were good. the pick 2 was only $7. it would be a great place to sit outside and have a few drinks with friends...if it was a little cooler out. they only have seating for 8 inside. so pick a cool day! huge beer and wine selection.

wish it was closer.. this place is a 30-40 minute drive from my house but damn it's good. wish we had one closer. funky joint with surprisingly good food. plus they have package! killer sandwich with a six pack to go.

i love the neighborhoody atmosphere of this restaurant. the outside patio is hip and inviting (to both those dining and those driving by!).
