went over a sunday noon for lunch and opted for à la carte, though their buffet spread was inviting. their soups were ok, not outstanding. . for starters, a must try is the kodi vepudu and also masala fish fry, it was mouth watering and my family loved it. however, the biriyani was too oily and a bit disappointing especially after a tasty starter. the dessert took more than 20 mins to arrive but it was worth the wait. . the brownie was amazing. it was an up and down experience that day but it is some place worth giving another try

three star hotel in coimbatore. ambience is good. food is tasty and lot of varieties. had buffet with family and everyone enjoyed. good discount with zomato gold.

typical 4 star hotel restaurant ! cheerful decor and good service make eating here a pleasure. i found the complimentary breakfast buffet was pretty good while i did not try the dinner buffet.   what i liked was they did not overdo the number of items leaving the guest a bit confused !  the a la carte menu features south and north indian  as well as continental and oriental.

good place to eat.

gokulam park is one of the best hotels i visited in coimbatore till date. during my stay , i tried the chicken biryani and chicken mac n cheese pasta . the chicken biryani was just like how my mom makes - so i would totally recommend trying it out . the chicken mac n cheese was good but it would better if there was more taste and flavour to the chicken. overall it was a good experience.

ambience :
it’s on the ground floor of the gokulam park hotel. lovely decor, starting from the water bottles to the walls.

buffet :
massive spread. i am talking about the dinner.

food:
couldn’t find anything which wasn’t good. everything they had on the buffet spread was great to taste.

service/staff:
every single staff was friendly. went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. no complaints at all.

price:
a little highly priced. rs. 999/- per person. rs. 750/- would have been apt.

ambience is good, loved the soft music. service is so so. buffet was average but loved their paneer dishes (especially considering that i'm a non vegetarian). also liked their dessert spread.

quite a decent restaurant around chinniampalayam. i went for a buffet dinner. the spread was decent but nothing exotic.
if you're planning for a drive with friends and family, you could opt for this place as it is situated in a highway.
and for those who are staying at this hotel, this restaurant is an wonderful option as you will have to drive around 4 to 5 kilometres to find an another!
the space is good and the ambience is pleasant. i would suggest this place for corporate dinners as driving here from airport is quite easy and you can avoid the city traffic as well. the space can give you a hassle free full team lunch and dinners.
paneer lovers! this restaurant makes one of the best paneer in the city! don't miss it!

over all, a decent restaurant to drop by on a drive; but not one that you keep planning with friends and family for a weekend!

a typical star restaurant. very friendly staff and service. we ordered basil pesto pasta, omlette toast and veg cheese burger with fries. all were good enough for the plates to be cleaned up thoroughly by the kids. suggest this place for traveling folks between guruvayur and bangalore for an hour break with good food and clean restrooms as we dont have to go into interior kovai and a good option with just a small detour off hwy544.

i have seen this hotel go from park plaza to clarion to gokulam park. but the restaurants dont change that much. the food is pretty decent. i love the neethu vecha meen kolumbu (yesterday's fish curry). desserts are pretty good too.

we stayed at the gokulam park for two days recently. we tried their breakfast buffet for two days and various ala carte dishes for dinner and lunch. from my experience of their dishes, i am of the opinion that they are excellent as far as their south indian dishes are concerned. i loved their sambar, chutney, idly, dosai, upma, pongal, vadai, sambar rice, curd rice etc. it is in their continental dishes that they lack finesse. their tawa fried fish was not fully cooked with raw batter making it bad. other than this one glitch, overall we were satisfied with their food and service. while i was taking photographs for zomato, one of the server got paranoid and came to me asking is there anything wrong with the food served. then i had to explain to him that i write reviews in zomato and the photos were taken for that purpose.

food average. ambience great. price a little priced but worth eating. over all experience okay. i won't say it was great. the view outside the hotel is awesome full of coconut trees n greenery. this is a very good hotel to stay. food wise it's average i would say.
