excellent meal today. i had not been to this restaurant for a couple of years; however, i often eat at their mississauga and vaughn restaurants. both of those gta restaurants are highly rated by customers. today, i returned to london's 168 sushi and had the all day dinner at the senior's price. both the sashimi and the food that came out of the kitchen were as good as the food in their mississauga restaurant. the manager and the service were quite good. my only quibble is that the ipad program is slightly different than that of the other 2 restaurants and i had to get used to it.
i can certainly recommend this restaurant.

unique decor and ipad ordering system. let me state my bias upfront. i am a friend of the owners of this restaurant and i know the managers as well. i visited the restaurant on the third day that it was open and ate from the all day dinner menu rather than the lunch menu. seniors, such as i get a break on price, so i took advantage of the wider menu.
the decor was very attractive. it resembles a modern hong kong restaurant. the ipad ordering system was very unique and once i was shown how it worked, i found it to be useful because it had pictures of the items. once the food was ordered, it came out quickly. i enjoyed the food, especially the kitchen items. the sashimi was fresh and well presented. i did not try the regular sushi, but since i know the head sushi chef, i expect that it is fine.
this is an all you can eat restaurant, but you can also order items off the take out menu. lunch costs $13.95 ($9.95 for seniors). dinner is $21.95 (mon to thurs) and $23.95 from fri-sun and holidays) dinner prices for seniors are $16.95 and $18.95 respectively.
