greek salad. we tried the place tonight. apparently i ordered the worst thing on the menu. the greek salad left much to be desired. all iceberg lettuce over a bed of potato salad. three kalamata olives! four small tomato halves, half a chicken breast that i paid $2 for. all this for about $9.50. pitiful. my wife's chicken roll-ups were decent and i passed by a guy with the steak kabob that smelled really good...but what i got was terrible. for my mediterranean fix i'll stick with mama pita across the street.

i had lunch here with some work friends back on 12 december. i looked the menu over, and decided on the classic turkey sandwich with potato salad. the turkey was ok but a bit on the dry side. the potato salad was excellent. the iced tea was decent. this place was crowded at the noon hour; our group of seven split into two tables. my check was $10.26. i remember being quite hungry come dinner time, and ended up getting a big italian meal. so zoe’s is a mixed bag. ok sandwich, but the mcalister’s turkey is more substantial for less money. i might try zoe’s again.

good stuff. like many others i have been a regular zoes' visitor in other cities, and am delighted to have a tlh location. consistently good food notwithstanding a few opening weeks bumps. the chicken salad, slaw, greek salad, chicken soup & gruben are all very good. the pasta salad and the new quinoa salad are really outstanding. one of the best things about the location is the outdoor seating - the high retaining wall creates a pleasant place to eat notwithstanding being right next to thomasville road. and the easy grab-and-go items are fresh, fast and a lifesaver for a healthy lunch or dinner. welcome to tlh zoes! glad you are here.

glad they're here. i'm definitely excited to not have to go to destin to eat at a zoes kitchen. the marinated slaw is excellent with its greek dressing and feta and the quinoa salad was very tasty. nice to see quinoa used properly in a dish. the spinach roll-ups are one of my favorites and my companion enjoyed them enough to agree to definitely be a repeat customer. they are very vegetarian friendly and (mostly) healthy. our only complaint was the potato salad was way too salty/peppery to eat, but we had more than enough food so we didn't bother to return it.

fresh and tasty!. been to zoes kitchen several times since it's opening. we've tried their chicken kabobs, steak kabobs, chicken salad sandwich, steak roll up, orzo soup and hummus and pita. food has been well seasoned and cooked. i didn't love the steak roll up and the soup but the kabobs have always been delicious. the chicken salad sandwich and hummus are great as well. the staff has been friendly and efficient. we only had a not so good experience 1 time when the food was definitely overcooked and the meat was super dry, however it was taken care of by the staff. it's clean, non fried food. thumbs up!

an email from an old friend and an invite to lunch brought me down thomasville road to visit one of tallahassee’s newest lunch spots, zoës kitchen.  the restaurant is a chain with locations in fifteen states including four stores in florida.

the couple meals that i have gotten here are so-so. today's sandwich (which was $8) was about the size of a half sandwich from panera but less filling. portions are horrible. i looked at my wife after the sandwich and had to ask her if we could pick up a burger on the way home because it didn't even come close to satisfying my hunger. her chicken wrap was tiny and extremely bland. if it didn't come with salsa on the side it would t have had any taste at all.

if you're in the mood for fresh and not too heavy foods, then this place is a good place to consider! this is the first location in tallahassee and also my first visit to zoe's kitchen.

my dad and i walked in and were really surprised by the modern, exciting, and warm atmosphere. the menu was a good size; a little small but i personally like that because i don't feel overwhelmed or indecisive.

the items on the menu were mainly mediterranean but very simple. i was pleased to see how many gluten-free options they had, since i can't really eat gluten and these options looked pretty yummy. i had good expectations for this place.

i ordered the quinoa salad with grilled chicken and my dad ordered the chicken salad and fruit plate. my salad was super tasty. a good portion of food worth it's money, in my opinion. my dad's salad was good as well, but not as big of a portion as mine. the chicken salad was bland but the fruit was very fresh and delicious. it looks like portions vary.

overall, my experience here was very good. good service, light lunch-time type of food, and tasty. i would definitely come here again.

i love zoe's kitchen, but was very disappointed in my first visit to the new tallahassee location. let me start by saying the service was excellent and fast; however my "usual" chicken wraps that i have ordered in the past at other locations were far from what i usually get. they were soggy and warm to say the least, almost as if they were pre-cooked for the lunch rush and sitting for a bit before being ordered. typically at other locations the chicken wraps are toasted crispy on the outside with delicious moist chicken on the inside! i have wanted a zoe's kitchen in tallahassee since trying the one in destin so i hope this location gets their act together.

...when i found out that today was the grand opening for zoes kitchen in tallahassee, we made it a point to meet up and try it. the restaurant is located in the whole foods shopping center off thomasville road, across from red elephant, joann fabric, etc. the restaurant is nestled in, by the road, but currently does not have a sign facing the road, so just look for the whole foods, and alumni hall signage.   overall the restaurant has a great set up. tons of natural light. plenty of booth or table options, and an adorable outdoor patio area, complete with a pergola, and tables and umbrellas. i can see myself meeting for lunch on the patio this fall. (just a tad bit too hot now to enjoy) (mental note: inquire if we can bring georgia and sit outside) we arrived at 11am, just as they opened. they are open 11am - 9p

staff goes the extra mile. the food here is delicious. the staff is also super friendly and welcoming. if you are nice enough they might even let you have a couple of extra pita triangles to go with your leftover mountain of hummus... if you have leftovers. this was my first visit but it will not be my last.
