zia gourmet pizza

hungry on friday you are on business trip need sone place to sit and relax i think zia pizzas is a great place.

very nice owner zia and he helped us to select our pizza, we took a small with half n half both the half's where equally delicious and also very light.

unbelievably unique tasty ingredients! very creative and gourmet cheeses to boot. all the staff are friendly and attentive, ready to describe in detail each type of pizza when asked. slices or full pies available with lots of tasty veggie choices. the interior is a bit eclectic, but your attention quickly focuses on the articulately enjoyable pizza!

incredible pizza made with love!. we grabbed two pizzas and a salad to go for a last minute get together. the owner jumped up to help me so i wouldn't have to wait while the cashier helped someone else. he obviously loves his pizza and is so proud of every one he makes. he was delightful and he proudly described the pizza he was giving me . we had the roasted chicken with was delicious, but the hands down winner was a pesto butternut squash with roasted potatoes and a couple kinds of cheese. incredible! it's not on the menu you just ask for a recommendation for something different and they offered this. would definitely get it again. the salad was great. the large house salad was plenty for 5-6 people with marinated pears and a the peach dressing both sweet and a little zippy (if you like that-we do!) . go and let them create for you!

we couldn't visit california without trying some pizza. zia gourmet pizza has some odd topping combinations, so we decided to give them a try. my husband and i never want the same thing, so we decided on a half and half pizza. we got half the new yorker (turkey pastrami combined with

the whole wheat pizza crust was different but very good. the new yorker pizza and potato pizza were fresh and delicious.

what this place lacked in style and decor, it made up for in taste!

best pizza in san diego. period.. great vibe, great ingredients, reasonable prices and, most importantly, delicious!
