tantalizing on the tastebuds. we stopped by for dinner on a sunday evening. we actually live closer to the woodstock yum yum, but it's a smaller space than the kingston restaurant and, due to its deserved popularity, is often too crowded for us to relax, decompress and enjoy. if, like us, you don't enjoy eating in crowded restaurants, this seems to be a good time to visit. we started with a daily special appetizer that was absolutely fantastic - tempura fried zucchini on a steamed bun with thai basil aioli. the combination was shockingly wonderful and more interesting on the palate than it sounds. it was so good that we ordered another one to take home. for our entrees, we both chose noodle bowls with a beautifully seared fillet of salmon as the protein, rice noodles for the noodle option, and the coconut curry for the broth. the bowls came with a healthy serving of veggies and a hard boiled egg. we were not disappointed...everything tasted fresh and flavorful (without being salty). for beverages, we had a hot black tea (fragrant premium loose black tea leaves served in a glass carafe) and a refreshing iced honey jasmine green tea. the service was excellent from beginning to end...we'll definitely return.
