try this banh mi (vietnamese sandwich) which was very nice, the barbeque pork is juicy and tender, the baquette itself not hard and you can bite easily. everything inside from the pickled carrot and daikon, herbs and their white sauce which blend nicely.

without a doubt the best bahn mi around. the only better i've had is the nom nom truck in la. i moved from the north end to seattle and haven't found anything nearly as good down here.

hidden behind a little strip mall on aurora you can find some truly unique and delicious banh mis. located a little north of the city in lynnwood, yeh yeh’s has created quite a following despite only being in business for a few years. i guess that’s what happens when you make great food…if you make it, they will come. the first time i came here was before all the foodie hype about this place. i though i was just going to any old cheap vietnamese deli. this was dispelled very quickly as i was surprised to find out how how much more in price the sandwiches were compared to other place in the seattle area. i just assumed it was a premium for not being in the international district. however, after getting my food i realized the price difference was actually because you get a much larger sandwich filled to rim with meat and veggies.

thumbs up. yeh yeh's is a dive, but the bahn mi are really, really good. my favorite is the grilled pork. fresh grilled meat, delicious pickled vegetables, nice french rolls. all for about four bucks. what's not to love?

we had no idea when we held our january bánh mì taste-off that this would become the most talked about sandwich in seattle come february. while delicious and cheap, these nondescript vietnamese sandwiches are so commonplace here that they don't typically get a lot of attention. but after the new york times' piece two weeks ago covering their picks for best bánh mì in america, including two from seattle, people started prodding me, "hello? when are you going to post your taste-off results?"

great sandwiches. the bahn mi are better and more meaty than your average bahn mi. the food is all very tasty, very home-cooked, and the people are great. you can't lose here.

awesome frickin' sandwiches!. yeh yeh's is a regular spot for my co-workers and myself. we love their sandwiches - grilled pork, grilled beef, grilled salmon, extra meat, extra jalapenos, no jalapenos, lot of hot sauce, whatever. crab rangoons and egg rolls, awwwww yeah! seriously awesome food at a very great price. the sandwiches are killer, especially the pork and beef. salmon is pretty dang good too. i haven't had the soup yet, but i hear it is also excellent.

yeh yeh's has a family feel to it. (well, it is family operated!) there really isn't too much special about the place other than the food and the hard-working service you get. but what else do you need for a quick bite to eat. stop by and give them a try. i know where i'll be for lunch today. and i always leave happy, full, and wanting more... you will too, i promise.
