count 1 : reached the restaurant at 8:45pm. as soon as i stopped the car in front of the valet, he said "yahan bohot waiting hai, pakke se yahan aana hai tab hi gaadi dena".
count 2 : the mobile waiting app updated that the table was ready. went to the reception, and showed the message. the person rudely pointed towards a corner and said "abhi ready nahi hua, idhar hi khade raho". 3 minutes later, we just asked what table we would be seated at. the reply we got - "abhi toh bola nahi ready hua, baar baar kya puch rahe ho". 2 minutes after, he led us to the table, we just said that the first rule of the hospitality industry is not to be rude to the customer. he said he was behaving perfectly fine.
count 3 : called a waiter to place our order. just asked him for jain options. he said "sizzler bilkul mat khao", with a grin on his face the entire time. asked him again, hastily he said ki "kar lenge jain kuch, dekh lenge. ye karlo". placed the order, got the soup and starter, and the sizzler was at the table but not yet served. we wanted to order some beverages and asked another waiter for the drinks menu. without listening to what we had to say, he said "haan, abhi sizzler pak raha hai, kar lenge thodi der me serve". the person who took our order was also seen shouting at his subordinates frequently(since our table was next to the service station)
the worst experience with customer service i've ever had. the food : 3/5(used to be much better).
i eat out a lot, and never bother writing reviews, however good or bad the place is. however, this was an exceptionally distasteful experience, mainly because of the arrogant employees.
