i've been going to this restaurant for takeout and an occasional sit-down dinner with my kids since 1996. so it is very good. whenever i eat at a chinese restaurant, my "go-to" dish (read: my barometer of the quality of chinese food) is kung pao chicken. by far they have the best. it's just unbreaded chicken pieces, tons of peanuts, whole dried chilies; all in a rich, dark brown hoisin-based sauce. yum! the simplicity of the four ingredients is what makes it so good. no baby corn, no bamboo shoots or any thing else to distract from the simplicity of the perfect blend of sweet, salty, spicy and savoy. but it's not too spicy-hot. my two youngest sons have been ordering it for years. so, if you want it spicy, order a side of chili oil. if you order a pint of rice, instead of the normal half pint, it serves two. enjoy.
