delicious place for a cheap tasty lunch in town! 10 euro for a bento box with all sorts in it! chicken salad, katsu chicken (it was originally seafood katsu but they let us get chicken instead which was a great idea) two rolls of sushi, rice and soup! the soup wouldn't of been a fan of but everything else delicious! nice staff and a really nice spot. really big and interior was lovely too. i would definitely go back, such a bargain!!

wonderful joint for sushi! delighted to see many options for vegetarians. the avocado sushi and the cucumber dragon were fantastic. one has to have the new york cheese cake though the green tea ice cream can be skipped. efficient staff with quick service was appreciated.

good sushi and nice drinks. recommend the one with polish vodka zubruwka and apple juice. i feel like the food is overpriced and you can find nicer sushi in cheaper, smaller places. wine collection is impressive tho and liked the spaciousness.

bento box is always a tasty reliable at yamamori. sushi is fresh every day and always delicious. menu is relatively expensive in comparison to musashi (sushi and noodle restaurant capel st.) but it's a great venue for a large group get-together.

i really enjoyed the ishi yaki bibimbap. there is a nice relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant and a nice bar where you can have a couple of dri is before your meal.

lovely staff, atmosphere is gorgeous and the food is nice. i would recommend getting the yamamori ramen as it is delicious and well made. 😍 tempura prawn is one of the best too.

arrived here after a long weekend of going out to make up for not going to electric picnic. we both are not experts in japanese cuisine judging by our chopsticks skills, so we ordered a large sushi plate which is a chef choice of sushi from nigiri, normaki and others i wish the staff had actually gone through what was on the platter as some of the items i was unsure of and my boyfriend isn't fond of fishy fish was for the main dishes i choose the yamamori yakisoba that contained prawns, chicken, pork and veg in egg noodles it was well cooked. himself got the duck teriyaki which wasn't as nice the duck was overcooked and there was a lot of liquid left in the dish which was unappetizing
and left the veg very soft and watery.the best part of the meal was the lemonade, i ordered the cucumber and basil and himself got the ginger fizz. both were so fresh and uplifting could have drank about three jugs.

love allthe yamamori's for sushi but i particularly like this one! my favourite dish is the rainbow normaki. it's such a great combo of fish, including crayfish, tuna, salmon and white fish! i love my sushi covered in soy, ginger and wasabi!

great thing is you can enjoy a dinner here with a non sushi lover as they do lovely house specials! personal favourite is the chicken katsu curry! just the right amount of kick!

the bento boxes are a great intro to sushi and they change daily! they are also great if you can't pick what you want to eat!

always finish your japanese with a sake - it will blow your brains!

went here last friday for dinner. all thanks to aisling in zomato. thanks again for the voucher. had a lovely time. the staff are so friendly and welcoming. got there a bit early and had a drink in the little bar just at the back of the restaurant through the garden. tried a japanese beer on tap which was very nice. was nice to chill there for a while before dinner. for dinner we ordered the pork gyoza to start. i love gyoza, there a type of japanese dumpling. so tasty could eat alot more of them. for main course we decided to share the regular bento box. this is a mix of all the specials of the day. it let's you try a little of everything and great if it's your first time trying japanese food. we also ordered seafood and vegetable tempura on the side. the bento box specials of the day included 2 bacon and seabass roads, beef carpacio with a wasabi dressing. i loved this but my sister was not so keen. there was also a crispy salmon with salad which was quite nice. there was also some salmon sashimi which was yum. had an old fashioned cocktail for dessert which u would recommend. this is definitely my favourite japanese place in dublin. i have been to yamamori noodles but i prefer this one. the restaurant is so bright and loads of space and the garden and little bar at the back are just lovely.

this place is a hive of activity. i visited with my sister on friday gone and it was absolutely buzzing. it had been a few years since i had visited this restaurant but i can say for sure it will not be that long again. they have a beautiful bar out the back past the smoking area called tengu. as soon as we walked into the restaurant we were greater by the host and as we were early we were given the choice of having a drink or our table. we went for the drink, being friday and all and we happily made our way to the tengu bar. this bar is very cool, much softer lighting than the sushi restaurant and you can still order a selection of sushi while you're there. we had a pint of japenese beer, which was really good. when we made our way back to the restaurant for our table, it took us a long while to choose what we wanted to eat because everything looked so good. in the end we choose a bento box, some pork dumplings (i may be developing a dumpling addiction), seafood tempura and vegetable tempura all to share. it was absolutely delicious from start to finish and the staff were very helpful and attentive throughout. the bento box came with miso soup, (really tasty), crispy salmon dish (which was the equivalent of pork crackling in my opinion, yum), white fish wrapped in bacon (absolutely gorgeous), some cured beef and some salmon nigiri (very tasty). the dumplings were like little pockets of flavour in a crispy shell. a portion of six pieces did not last long. and the batter on all the tempura dishes was so light and crispy. fantastic food all round. i can see why it was so busy on a friday evening. we finished the evening with an old fashioned each. thanks zomato for reminding me how good this restaurant is.

popped in here for a quick bite to eat.  easy going staff and quick service. had veggie tempura and edamame to start. both were simple and fresh. mains were a katsu curry and a beef curry with black rice. both were very good. massive portions in here so had to bring some home in a doggy bag. only issue was a lot of the cocktails on the menu were unavailable. good venue for catch ups with friends.
