first time having korean. i will be going over to south korea soon to teach english so my mother and i decided to go and try some korean food. i was recommended to by this place by a supervisor so we decided to try it. we ordered the pan fish for an appetizer and it came with a sauce that was very good to dip into. the meal came with a lot of side items as well as rice. i would consider the next time i go to split a meal though because there is so much food.
the service was excellent and i would go again.

excellent korean food. we both ended up ordering dolsot bibimbap with beef as a birthday out meal. everything was fresh and hot and delicious. all the flavors mixing together in a stone bowl with mixed rice. i finished my big portion (i should have saved some for lunch the next day) and i couldn't resist so i started going after my wife's unfinished meal (which she was saving for lunch!). the staff is friendly and courteous and knowledgeable. the timing was perfect. we'll be back!

garbage. i've been here a number of times and keep trying to give them another chance everytime. one time when ordering fried rice with beef they put sugar on the rice, i spit it out and asked if they had a new cook, the owner looked shocked and said yes, it was his first day. i said it was poison and they wanted to charge me even though they agreed to make another one and that he made it wrong. another time i ordered same thing and every, and i mean every piece of beef was pure fat, no meat. when i called up in to complain they said the cook has his choice of what type meat to use and he decided this time to use rib meat. no lie. i couldn't believe it. i ordered beef fried rice and they give me lard off of ribs and it is their choice. today i order shredded beef soup and they put zero beef in it and the waiter said the brown noodles were the beef. are you kidding me. he was also rude about it as well. what criminals they belong in jail for lying. my friend stopped going years ago since he was sick of their games. i will join him and let everyone know stay clear of thus garbage.

first time try. i went there for the first time today. it wasn't bad. its a small restaurant. the staff is friendly.

i ordered a grill menu item so i got to grill my own meat and wrap it in ssam (lettuce). they give you up to 6 small side dishes - not sure if you can get them refilled or not (or if it is free to do so).

the meals are fairly priced for what you get and for the fact that you prepare it yourself "authentically"

i'd go again.

the beef tartar would be a consideration for my last dish. really good with gluten free- though a large portion of the menu is a no-no in that regard

new owner and great food and service. i heard korea house has a new owner and decided to give it a try. i ordered the grilled mackerel, bbq kalbi and spicy silken tofu with seafood. i have ordered similar dishes in other korea restaurants in nyc and toronto and it was just as good. my waitress was very attentive and friendly. i would definitely come back again and recommend others to try this place out.

it was probably some of the best korean food i have had. the rice with all the food you can put in it like fish cakes or kimchi was amazing. i loved the barbacue especially the beef

wonderful authentic korean cuisine. my first experience with korean food was at woo chon korea house and i will keep coming here again and again for delicious authentic korean cuisine. both times i've been there i went with friends, because meals are meant to be enjoyed together. the waitress was a bit pushy and opinionated, but take my advise she won't steer you wrong. the dish she strongly recommended turned out to be one of the most amazing things i've ever had. braised beef prime rib served in a stone bowl, truly out of this world. the side dishes that are served along with the meal were great as well, and the green tea ice cream i pretty sure was homemade by the restaurant. this place is truly something special and i recommend it to anybody curious about trying korean cuisine or who just enjoys great food.

i'm korean, i really like the food. grew up in flushing, queens where there is a huge korea town with fantastic food. although it's not fair to compare this restaurant to where i'm from, the food is more than good enough to satisfy my korean fix. really good kimchi jigae, tasty bulgogi, a nice selection of banchan (free apps), pretty decent bibimbap. there is a korean bus tour company that takes visitors from queens to niagara falls. this is where they stop. the staff is really nice too.

delicious and plentiful!. i highly recommend woochon-- the sides that are served with the meal (including kimchi, an assortment of rice cakes, potatoes, fish cakes, and other things) are delicious, and allow you to sample a wide variety of things along with your main dish. they also will refill these sides if you ask. the entrees are quite generous in size as well, so you're almost sure to have leftovers. it is a clean atmosphere, and the food is authentic...i highly recommend korea house.

best in buffalo. though the restaurant may have had issues in years past, the flavor of each dish is truly unbeatable among other competitors in the buffalo area. admittedly, this is a somewhat pricey outing, but for those longing for a sense of "seoul" food, woo chon can't be beat!

by the area's historic standards, and by current comparison with many other cities in the eastern or pacific time zones, western new york seriously lacks for korean food. there are places, particularly in california, where literally blocks and neighborhoo
