over the cold wet rainy weekend i joined my husband & his friend having drinks at wise craxs on saturday. a clean & neat type of pub/bar/restaurant feel good for a chilled lunch/dinner & drinks. i was starving and enjoy a good salad but a salad in the cold would just not be actable. i had a cappuccino (okay) & the taco's (mini ones) you get to assemble them yourself. the ingredients where fresh and pulled pork enjoyable just maybe a tad too salty (and i love salt).
my husband enjoyed his breakfast (the quickie) & his friend the t-bone it was reasonably sized & juicy.
there portions are good and really affordable.
i will visit again to try out one of the other menu offerings.

the employees there are so friendly, the food is fresh, tasty and juicy, i love their ribs and pork chips, the best i have tasted so far compared to all other restaurants i have been to. i stay in midrand however i never miss an opportunity to buy their food when am in centurion and honestly sometimes i drive there just for their food and atmosphere

waited over an hour for our food, which was average at best. the waiter / kitchen also got the order wrong. had high hopes for this place, but will unfortunately not be going back.

i found a hidden gem...i've been living in highveld for more than 3 years now and this was my first visit. i was surprised by the cosy and casual vibe, the decor and the menu.
if you are looking for a pub experience, this is it.
i only had drinks, so will have to come back for the food and review on that then...

overall experience was satisfactory. went there during the lions vs warathas semi-finals rugby match after a gruelling flight with my friends and a beer was needed at the end of a long day. the restaurant was packed and there was a buzz in the atmosphere. what i liked about the place was the portion size for what you actually pay for. the food isn't fine dining, so if you're looking for that then this isn't the place, this is a pub/sports bar experience. however, it's a great joint for a quick bite, and a couple of drinks with friends. friendly staff too, and i recommend it to everyone =)

we came here in hopes of having a really nice sunday afternoon lunch while listening to their live band play. unfortunately after placing our order for drinks and a starter we waited over an hour for our waiter to bring the meal. an hour and no sign of our waiter up until i spotted him asked him if our starter is being prepared to which he laughed while he brought to the other table their cutlery. enough was enough, we weren't prepared to wait any longer for our starter than we already have. we gave the money that was owed for our drinks and left to rather eat at capital craft where we finally got a meal and outstanding service. a real pity in the service received and no opportunity to have their food but the service is enough to keep us away.

always a great atmosphere, amazing service, very reasonable prices for the quality of food you receiving and a massive fan of their burgers.

from my experience any time after 6pm it starts becoming more of a bar attraction, louder music, and live entertainment such as karaoke etc. so just keep that in mind for the people out there who are looking at bringing their kids along.

the zucchini fries are amazing. they brought me a bowl and i could finish another. inside is very bar atmosphere that isn’t really my style but if you book an outside table it is nice. i do not like the co ed bathrooms.

foods good. been going there for years. well priced. waiters really really terrible though. expecting their tip without service, which is always terrible especially if being harasses for a tip while not understanding why no tip is being given ?? every time... expect a good vibe with no or slow, very slow, service.

pathetic first time visit. two waiters stood around looking bored. i requested a table for two the one walked us onto the smoking area and just stood there not saying anything. another client came in and waiter number one greeted the client very friendly then proceeded to take him to a table on the verandah outside leaving us still standing in the middle of the smoke area. waiter two had returned to his bored state and just ignored us. well i just left it at that and my girlfriend and left immediately. truly the worst welcome service i have ever had. this was around 18.00 on 19 january 2018

another 5/5! and another restaurant added to my "yes let's go there!!" list! #happiness

what's great about this place?? everything!
the menu rocks my world, and it is my mission to try everything! their open faced sandwich with beef strips, onion marmalade, brie cheese & rocket is one of the most delicious meals i have had in a long time! the nachos are awesome! their burgers.. well.. just look at the pictures and you can just imagine! they have great specials! and they do the whole 50/50 on pizzas! half of one and half of another.. great for us folk that just can't make a decision easily! hint: go on a wednesday and you get whatever pizza you want for a ridiculously good price!

what else is awesome about this place? the decor inside is insane! their staff rock! they have live bands! again.. the whole 50/50 pizza thing! they serve a huge variety of different foods! they have an inside and an outside area! and everything is just.. awesome!

great value for money and a cool new addition to centurion. the pizzas are really good and i highly recommend the "sweet caroline". furthermore what's great about the place is that there is some kind of special on almost every day. saturday's it's r10 beers and sundays there is a pizza special.

if you're looking to have a quiet night out, avoid sitting outside on the deck area, it often gets quite rowdy out there. otherwise grab a seat inside and you'll be sorted. the music is good and the service was pretty impressive.

great affordable food, loads of choices for any taste. friendly service, great vibe. favourite dishes include bitterballen, nkandla burger and asian steak and gorgonzola salad.

decided to try this new restaurant in the highveld area since i've heard only good things. popped by for lunch on a friday afternoon. to start off with, service is slow. not enough wait staff outside. tried the "fees must fall" burger which was yummy and the patty was very thick. i had the "jake white" pizza, it had feta, avocado and biltong. when i read it comes with biltong, i thought it would be thin slivers of biltong but it was so thick and so difficult to bite through that you just have to eat it separately than actually on your slice of pizza. and biltong really just over powers it all. wouldn't be trying this again. although i'm in the area - i'd rather try a different restaurant rather than coming back. food was average and vibe is good.
