for years, i've zipped past this restaurant because from the road, the small strip mall that it is in doesn't look like there's anything noteworthy at all. i only decided to try wing lee because i saw their listing in yelp. when i got there, i thought it was rather funny that next door is an adult store with all kinds of lingerie-clad manniquins in the window, but hey, they can't choose their neighbors.
service was top-notch. we were first-timers at the restaurant and everyone, from the owner to the wait staff, took the time to talk to us. the server was also very attentive, filling our water glasses as needed and making recommendations on condiments, etc. as for the food, it was the best chinese we've had in a long while. i actually had the paha thai noodle, which was pretty much like pad thai, this time. it was tasty and the portion size was ample.
all in all, i was impressed. i'd definitely return to this restaurant, after i'm done reviewing all the other chinese restaurants along route 611, of course.
