not a bad lunch at all.. this was my first time back in wild wing cafe in several years. the place hasn't changed a bit from what i can see. we arrived on a the tail end of lunch and were immediately seated.
i really wasn't in the mood for wings and ended up ordering a bacon cheeseburger and i'm quite happy that i tried their burger out. the burger was deceptively large. while it didn't take up a lot of space on the plate, it was tall and definitely a steak type burger. it was garnished with ridged french fries which were also excellent. my usual lunch companion and co-worker william had a grilled buffalo chicken sandwich and said he really enjoyed that as well. in fact the exact words were "it was better than hooters"...
all in all a delicious meal, friendly service and all around pleasant experience. we'll be back so.

much better than expected.. i've been trying to get in here to have a meal for a while now and it finally happened yesterday after work. not bad at all for a wing joint. in fact it was much better than i expected.
the first thing i want to point out was the excellent service we had from our server leslie. she was perfectly attentive, neither coming by the table to much or to little. the beer stayed full. she has lots personality and very knowledgeable about the menu. high praise there.
next would be the meal. the place was about half full when we arrived at 5:30 and was filling up quickly. after putting our orders in i don't think we waited more than 10-12 minutes before the food was being placed on the table. they were running on all cylinders and again, not expected and pleasantly surprised.
i'm not sure how many wing sauces they have but here are definitely a lot to choose from. for dinner i had the mini corn dogs with mustard and the spicy garlic wing sauce called the slayer. it wasn't nuclear, but it definitely put some sweat on the forehead. damn fine dinner. i really enjoyed them. the sauce was tangy and there was minced chunks of garlic on every single wing. delicious!
you do not have to settle for wings if you come here. they have a full menu that touches just about all genres. i recall some mexican meals like quesadillas and soft shell tacos, several different kinds of shrimp, steaks, ribs, bbq, burgers, wraps, appetizers, etc. and of course a kids menu. everyone should be able to find something on the they like.
one other thing i want to point out is they have something going on pretty much every night of the week.
sunday - karaoke.
monday - cornhole league.
tuesday - buy 8 wings. get a 8 wings free (5-10pm).
wednesday - trivia and $2.25 drafts.
thursday - $3 beam, morgan or soco.
friday - 2 for 1 apps & live music.
saturday - 1/2 price wine for the ladies and live music.
when i walked in here i was under the impression that this place would be exactly like buffalo wild wings. i was completely wrong. this is not a sports bar. the staff here shows a lot more personality and it shows in their performance. to me anyway, wild wing cafe has raised the bar on how this type of establishment should be run.
