joanne. too bad kara had a bad experience. there is no excuse for poor service even if it was a busy day. but, we don't think it represents wild egg's quality establishment. our family has only had great service (especially elizabeth) and great meals (my husband loves the breakfast burrito which is large enough for two meals), i love the veggie bennie florentine (an eggs benedict variation), and our daughter loves the waffles!

get the mr. potatohead. you won’t regret it. the waffles are very light, fluffy and giant in size. this is a must stop when you visit any city they are in.

great place for a saturday brunch that offers many varieties of egg dishes to choose from. the place was crowded but we didn't have to wait. we tried the custom omelette and farmers market skillet with some fresh coffee. the service was good even though they had to rush to wait all the other tables. i plan to visit again soon to try out something else in the menu.

we recently had a positive experience at wild eggs.  thorough service, and our breakfast had a great pace to it.  this place can certainly become busy, and so be prepared to wait; however, the creative menu items and the unique flavor combinations are well worth it.  the coffee and the hot chocolate are rich and satisfying, and the mr. potato head casserole is one of my favorite breakfast entrees in all of lexington (hashbrown potatoes baked with sour cream, diced onions, spices and cheddar-jack cheese, with breakfast sausage, diced tomatoes, poblano peppers, roasted mushrooms, queso fundido and eggs (over-easy)); solid bacon (but there is better in town, such as at windy corner), slightly dry biscuits, and above average french toast and pancakes. instead of ordering more traditional fare, try ordering some specialty items to fully experience what wild eggs has to offer.

i am very much not a breakfast person, unless it's a cup or two of coffee. but my husband is, so while staying in lexington, he wanted to eat breakfast before heading out to our day. we decided on wild eggs because it was listed as upscale chef breakfast. and it absolutely was. it took me forever to decide what i wanted, and i finally settled on the wild mushroom and garlic eggs. they were great! my husband had an omelet, and it too was very very good. we shared the skillet cinnamon roll which was very good, but very much put me over the edge for eating too much in the morning, so i remained a bit sickish feeling for the day. having said that, we'll go back when one is near, because it was a great breakfast. the price was higher for breakfast, but our hyatt hotel offered a $10 breakfast, and my meal was only $13, so i'd skip the hotel breakfasts and go to wild eggs. the only things that they need to work on definitely was the fried potatoes, which were not very good at all, and better coffee, which was just run of the mill restaurant coffee. but i'm a coffee snob, so. . . .

what a tantalizing breakfast menu! four of us shared the luscious cinnamon roll made in a cast iron skillet. i had the mr. potato head casserole which which combined all my breakfast favorites and hubby had the chili verde huevos rancheros. both dishes are accurately described on the menu. they sit a carafe of water at your table. service was excellent and chef came out and commented to me, "did you not like your meal?" he had observed i ate every crumb. highly recommend!

my wife and i enjoyed our breakfast. we waited about 30 minutes but it was worth the wait. the oj is delicious and the food tasty. my wife is gluten-free and she had a lot of choices. we'll be back. the restaurant is conveniently off the i-75 interstate.

the bloody mary's were fabulous. the garnishes were delicious and dangerous at the same time. how can a pickle be that sweet and then require a fire extinguisher to put the fire out in my mouth?? well done wild eggs-and thank you yelp user for the recommendation. the food was great, too, interesting menu, nice ambiance, helpful, funny waitress, chicken and waffles got two thumbs up.

as someone who loves breakfast, i love any chance to go here. it is consistently good, and the service is always great. the buffalo chicken omelette is so ridiculously good, the pancakes are pretty stellar as well. my boyfriend always gets the chorizo biscuits and gravy and they are always great. highly recommend for a tasty start to your day.
