experience. this place gives you a great breakfast experience and something you will talk about. great food for a great price and a hilarious atmosphere (not that there is much available). very quick with a big menu for breakfast and lunch.

great burgers and service. i just recently started to work a few blocks from this diner, and i have come to absolutely love their burgers. it is possible one of the best burger i have had in a long time. the staff is friendly and will let you know if it will take a while for your order to be ready.

yum. it is fast, friendly and delicious food for a cheap price . great burger! they are always will to accomadate you how you like it.
note: cash only and very small joint. great for carry out.

the greasy, but goodie. i just finished the philly steak sandwich that was brought in. holy cow. soaking through two pieces of waxed paper, smelling of onions, peppers and heavenly goodness.

for obvious health reasons it's not something you'd want to eat everyday, but it's a little slice of heaven in a white paper bag.

as a foodie, i have an appreciation for small, hole-in-the-wall joints such as this one. this diner is definitely a food destination when in saint louis. the dish names are fun such as the, "how 'bout a mess," that i ordered and the, "how 'bout cha," that my boyfriend ordered. mine came with sausage and his came with ham. both were delicious and the portions were filling. i recommend you drop in to this diner when you're in town!

a st. louis institution. this is the place that was the restaurant used in the movie "white palace" with james spader and susan sarandon. it's a tiny little place with just a few seats, but they have great little burgers and basic breakfast. it's the quintessential greasy spoon with a charm all its own.

greasy dreams. i used to eat here a little too often when i worked downtown. out of this world drippy diner fare. mmmmmmmm. i really miss it. i think i need to take a road trip soon.

ain't nothing like the real thing. i just walked back in the door from my first white knight experience and can offer nothing but praise. 2 burger combo meals (w/ fries and a drink) came to $14 including the tip. service was everything you expect of a mom & pop greasy spoon, that is to say accompanied with a smile and a cigarette, and the food was great. this little diner transported a jersey boy back to his roots if only for a quick lunch!
