the good thing first - this is when you realise the joys of living in a smaller town than bangalore. you can never get a buffet lunch for ₹699 in any bangalore 5star.
but that may also have to do with the choice of food at the buffet. the spread here is pretty simple. i’m not going to comment on the veg. on the meat side they had a sliced fish gravy, a chicken gravy and mutton dum biryani. i’m not sure if the spread is more elaborate in bangalore restaurants but it definitely is at the rad. no complaints about the taste.
but before that the starters. admitted, i was a little late to arrive with the group, but it took ages for the deep fried veg nuggets and the tandoori chicken to come.
so to lace the stomach i asked for a spicy bhel puri which was nothing but. the salads and the rasam were great.
there was a wide variety at the dessert counter but again i think there should have been a choice of ice-creams instead of the lonely butterscotch.
the ambience is great. i should have tried the beer but i didn’t. overall, may be the scale has to be improved if more people are going to patronise this place.
